I know no one cares bit Spiderman PS4 is sooo good!
It’s like Arkham (combat) and Uncharted (graphics/music/dialogue) had a baby!
The web swinging is so awesome as is the parkour
I haven’t played a Spiderman game since 2010 Shattered Dimensions.
I like that they are kinda doing their own take/continuity on it as well.

I’ve never played Virtua On but judging from the excitement you guys are showing, I’m guessing the game is hype.
It’s a 1v1 arcade mech “fighting” game. It doesn’t control anything like a fighting game but it is a really damn good versus game. It also has unique controls where you have two flight-style joysticks with two buttons each and various movement combinations move your mech in different ways.

Eh. This could mean Kitana’s the next gameplay reveal. Honestly, I’ve never cared that much about her. They knocked it out of the park with her look this game though. Maybe she’ll surprise me.
I’m more salty about the true villians, the gods, getting off scott free.

My issue with FFXV and why I never ended up playing it is because they spread the story across so many different mediums that to me it just wasn’t worth learning or trying to catch up with or put in chronological order. You had the movie, the ova’s, the game, all the character specific dlc that went into characters backgrounds. Now you guys talkin’ about a book? Naw.
Just isn’t worth the headache to me.
Though. The irony in this does not escape me since I genuinely enjoyed the Kingdom Hearts storyline and games up until Dream Drop Distance. I still haven’t played KH3 because everything I hear about the story is just fucking groan worthy. Gameplay is usually the driving force in any game I buy but when the story is so bad it can detract from that? I don’t want to go through that.
FFXV will never not make me laugh, at how botched it was. I’m sure ideas sounded good in the boardroom, but just looking at it from afar, the warning signs were there.
The problem is that the people within Square Enix seem obsessed with making these projects with the story spread across multiple media. They really should just focus on putting stuff in the game first.
