This one is my favorite KH game. Anything card or creature based I instantly get sucked into and obsessed with. Pokémon, Jade Cocoon, Monster Rancher, Digimon, Battle Network etc. just inject into my god damn veins.
BBS is arguably the best game of the series. It took everything KH2 and polished it to make is smoother. Even though the worlds were smaller (as were the amount of worlds), the game play was top notch and the multiple story arcs was great.
BBS also gave us Leonard Nimoy and Mark God Damn Hamill.

Where you find Sora at the start of KH2 doesnât make any sense unless you played Chain of Memories. KH2 intro shows bits and pieces of what happened in Chain. Just stop.

Honestly the only games that are really skippable are the mobile game (especially since they made a movie out of its story line so you never have to actually play it) and re:Coded which is literally just a recap for KH1, Chain of Memories and KH2. It adds nothing to the over arching story. Which is why the turned it into a movie when the final mixes came out.
Everything else is pretty critical to the over all story. Even the dumb as fuck and awful 358/2. Which thankfully they turned into a movie for the Final Mixes for PS3 and PS4.

For if you look at all the KH1 and KH2 remasters they have a nice CG cut scene that allows you to skip that awful shitty card game and get the key points to the plot. Metal Gear Ac!d was the better Chain of Memories.
But there another point, you are arguing plot in a game series where the plot makes no sense anyways. So your point is moot.

I mean, I get that. Roxas is a shitty character. But it gives you his back story and why he left O13 which is important to KH2âs plot and later KH3âs plot.

Itâs hardly 3 hours. Maybe an hour. Also, the tutorial has a purpose by the end because it explains where Sora is and what happened to him after the events of Chain of Memories.
No one cares, this is no longer about KH.
This is Sparta I mean about Borderlands now.
And yes the tutorial is 3 hours. On your first playthrough and no guide expect that shit to take 3 hours time both in game and irl time.
