God damn it, its like Im watching myself play. I made my way through a section of Hollow Knight thats entirely dark by making a mental map of spikes and pits and all that.
Then later I found a power up that gives you a light so you can see through it.
The hilarious part is that now EA is fucking everybody over either way. They single-handedly worsened the situation after the Battlefront II debacle, and now they’re worsening the situation after a shitshow before the committee
Bloodstained just keeps throwing weapons and spells at you to keep things interesting.
There are a TON of “gimmick” weapons that have some sort of special attack. I got a Claymore early on, but it was spiked, so every swing hit like 3-5x. I got one sword that is exactly like a sword from SOTN, in that you throw it and it comes back to you like a boomerang.
You get boots that turn your attack into a ST. MK and crouch MK, now with a knife assist, so your kick will hit and do damage as well as the knife on the tip of your boot.
My favorite weapon currently is a Katana I got with a special move. If you tap down down+attack, Miriam will leap forward with an attack, which was an entirely different special move than my last katana had. They’ve introduced a mechanic with “8-bit coins” “16-bit coins” and “32-bit coins” and these are extremely rare to find/expensive to buy, but they can buy you some of the best gear in the game.
I bought a random swArd for 1 8-bit coin, and now I can upgrade it with a 16-bit coin for double the damage. Really cool imo. There are a lot of homages to past CV titles, and they even made Shovel Knight into an enemy. He even drops his shovel which is considered a spear type class.
As interesting as this would be this prob just short of being a pipe dream since IIRC the devs are owned by M$. And I say just short of a pipe dream cause there’s been some crazy collaboration and cross platform shit going on this generation that nobody would have thought would have happened 10 years ago.
sheeeeit, there’s a lot of things I’d like to see in that “old animation” 1930s style… Sonic, Super Mario, Toejam & Earl, Kid Chameleon, Donkey Kong Country, etc.
…and Popeye… bring that muthafucka back to relevance!
Meanwhile in Dead Cells, xb1 version— finally got my spider rune! …it was like my character handicapped without it all this time. I had such a good run earlier this morning on that… had 20+ in the Survival stat with my beloved Explosive Crossbow…which is one of the best weapons in the game, at least in my opinion…it’s like the “rocket launcher” of this game… The minor downside of the delay on the shot actually isn’t that big of a deal…that shot hits the enemies like the goddamn Hulk each time.
Naturally I had the “necromancy” passive again; it was up to about 0.77% healing for each kill…when you make sure to go around killing everything, this adds up quite nicely.
So from the new Switch Secret of Mana collection, someone did a Rom dump of all the game roms inside including Trails of Mana (Seiken Densetsu 3 ). Trails of Mana is now available as a SNES Rom.
Where at? Don’t ask me as per SRK Rules.
Use your Google Fu and don’t talk about it.
Also not every emulator works, figure it out your self.
