So apparently there are tons of cosmetics for your karts and characters in CTR remaster but they can only be bought with digital currency (Wumpa Coins) and the coins can only be accumulated in online modes. You also canāt buy the coins with real money.
There have been several reddit posts about this in various subreddits.
If true that really sucks and makes me not want to buy the game. (I had it preordered but cancelled due to lack of funds right now) Online only stuff is so fucking dumb. Iām not even saying that because I donāt like online gaming. Iām saying that cause itās a bullshit practice and a huge deterrent for a lot of people.

Maybe a patch will be released if fans complain enough. Either way, not a deal breaker since the game is so ggod, cosmetic stuff aint a big deal IMO

They couldnāt even fit all 3 spyros on one disc. Theyāre doing the same shit with the Switch port as well.

Government has wanted an in to regulate games in some manner ever since Mortal Kombat brought their attention to it. Shitty thing though is that this is a rock and a hard place. Either people call EA out on their bs or let them continue in the hopes that they donāt harpoon enough whales to make an anti consumer practice worh it.
