Something about Bloodstained is just off. I think itās the speed of the game and how slow the animations are. There is no impact with the hits either. It just seems a bit boring.

Yea basically every single Igavania suffers from that particular issue. Its something you just have to deal with in his games if you want to play them.

yeah thatās the thingāevery time Iāve seen footage of that game, I just donāt like how slow it looksā¦ I will always prefer a faster pace with most games though, regardless of genre. Release āTurbo Editionā of that shit and they might get my attention for sure. Everything else about it looks great though

Shit if I remember right, all 3 NES titles have you moving at a snails pace, with laggy and clunky controls that was intentionally done. Super Catstlevania 4 is Easy more, with Rondo of Blood and Bloodlines going back to slow again.

Metroidvanis should only apply to games in the Castlevania series under the same formula as SOTN (considering how it was a departure from the classic CV formula), otherwise GTFO with other games from other series being named like that
