I think just quality of life changes, like radar mini map and four player split screen. And a facelift, obviously.

Because BL2 is CLEARLY a massive upgrade over BL1, in aesthetics, content, and QoL.
It is obvious to anyone with eyes to see.

Just preordered Trover Saves the Universe. I want to give Justin Roiland all my money. That and itâs only $30. So if it sucks I wonât be bent out of shape over it. It looks ridiculously funny though.
Edit: There is also micro transactions in BL1 Remastered. So, expect the exact same in 3.

No not like Kingdom Hearts. Kingdom Hearts games generally play really different from each other.

Even then Kingdom Hearts has a lot of glaring issues. The constant revisits to the same world. Maybe 1 or 2 differed from game to game until Birth By Sleep and then 3. Fans fucking haaaaated it too and constantly let square know.
They also constantly gave QoL improvements to the battle system or totally changed it like they did im Chain of Memories where it was card based
They eventually kinda ruined the combat system. For me anyways. It became waaaay too frantic, hectic and too full of commands. Became super hardcore parkor too.
And though the story âevolvedâ it was also the worst thing about KH. Especially with 3D when they showed a character had time travel âmagicâ and everything youâve been doing since before the KH time line even started has been predetermined.
They were microtransactions in BL2. It was all a bunch of comestic silliness. The game also had some really good expansion content that was fun to play.
At this point thatâs such standard fare that all it ends up being is supporting a project you like by giving the devs a tip. All these indie devs doing hella work, but I canât ship them 5 dollars for it.
WoL update is godlike.

KH1: run into a different world themed maze like room for each Disney theme
KH2: run into a different world themed maze like room for each Disney theme with new gimmicks and a new bad guy organization
KH side games: run into a different world themed maze like room for each Disney theme but on your DS, 3DS or PSP.
KH3: Like KH2 but no QOL improvements, and worst pacing and dialog.
KHII doesnât even have maze worldâs numb nuts, was one of the bigger complaints about the game at launch. The worldâs are literally smaller.

It fucking does. From KH1 on wards, the worlds feel like self contained rooms. Only in KH1 they donât bother to hide the walls. And they repeat many of the same worlds, game to game.
KH2 they made the rooms a bit bigger and try to hide the walls off the room, but its still obvious.
KH3 they just add random shit that makes no sense, like walls you can run up in Mt. Olympus.

The stages are not worlds, they are little themed rooms.
In KH1 its obvious that you are just running a round in a single room, maybe two or three that happens to be decorated in what ever Disney Location they are trying to portray. You can come up to a corner of the map and literally see the corners of the room for each location.
There one or two stages that have multiple rooms like Monstro the Whale.
KH 2 they at least make it when you come to the edge of the map you donât see walls at the edge.
Worst stage designs I ever saw in a PS2 era game. Maybe it works for a PS1 or N64 game.
Everyone just gives it a pass as they go âOh look Disneyâ as they circle jerk each other to Disney music.

KH1 was definitely pretty damn boxed in, but youâd be crazy to think the same of KH2 with itâs more larger open areas. The areas are all sectioned off like KH1 but they are very much not boxed in and instead are more natural looking.
I donât know, Kingdom Hearts is all hot topic cosplay bullshit.
I assume all games follow the same fanfiction nonsense that some jaded FF8 fangirl wrote after a trip to Disney world.
