I would but itā€™s one of those silver collectors ones and Iā€™m rather fond of it.

Extra

So sega opted to not include the fmv intro at all on the switch version whether digital or physical

I probably skip the FMVs anyways

FMV? The only logical reason I can think is that adding it would keep the overall size of the game larger then the cart they decided to use. I get that the carts/cards are more expensive than discs but damn these companies are going cheap. I am thinking even if larger ones were available most companies would still cheap out.

Itā€™s most likely that adding the intro movie would push it over the filesize limit in a way that using the bigger cart would be a waste of space.

Been jumping between Shadow Hearts II and Persona 3. Persona 3 is fun but itā€™s also kind of a pain in the ass compared to the sequels Iā€™ve played. Canā€™t save at my desk for starters makes things tougher for the day shit, and this getting tired crap and bailing on dungeon exploration is honestly super frustrating canā€™t do more then 4 floors without Junpei and Yukari pussying out of me and going back to the dorm lol. Common guys really? We got shit to do yaā€™ll!! Lol.

Other stuff like having to physically talk to your party members to equip them with gear or just do anything with them is kind of weird and counter intuitive tho. Wish I could access skills and equip gear from the sub menu like a normal rpg/future Persona games. Not a big deal or anything but deffinitly noticable.

Edit: Not even fast travel lol

Also, check out SH2 soundtrack, thereā€™s some pretty good tunes! Especially the intro

Canā€™t remember if I ever posted this Resident Evil 4 video. Interesting stuff

If they really wanted too they could easily fix that by just putting it in a patch. Its not super important though.

Under Night in Birth has some excellent music, gameplay is nice too. Love some of the weird character designs too.

thanks your the best dude!

I posted that in response to RA as a whole and the question involving MK11ā€™s music. MK11 actually has some pretty good/memorable tracks on a few of its stages which is far more than I can say for the entirety of X. MKXā€™s background tracks were mostly forgettable at worst and cinematic at best. I canā€™t say anything stood out about that game music wise and if there is something that I missed then please post it.

In regards to the current landscape for gaming osts, its largely going to depend on what you play. Japanese and indie games pretty much have memorable music on lock at the moment. Usually western titles will have 1-3 tracks that be memorable and the rest will be cinematic forgettable stuff. Personally, out of the games Iā€™ve touched for the past 3 yearsā€¦most memorable tracks go to DMV, Super Mario Odyssey, BotW, Sonic Mania, Xenoblade Chronicles 2, Fire Emblem Warriors, Team Sonic Racing (actually havenā€™t played this yet but I listened to the OST just this morning) and Splatoon 2. I wish KH 3 would have made the list but falls short in comparison to the other games in the series aside from Utadaā€™s workā€¦not trying to sell Yoko short since sheā€™s still a god but in comparison to the work she put in on previous entries this one disappoints.

Edit: never played a wild arms game but I like that track you posted nickman

The whole cart vs disc cost confuses me. Like are you telling me if the switch was disc basedā€¦ all the games would be cheaper than $59.99?

Nope theyā€™d pocket the difference. The only time I remember disc based games being sold cheaper was during the Saturn/PS1/N64 era. Even then you could make the argument that it was done to put the squeeze on Nintendo.

In the last few years I enjoyed the OSTs of Persona 5, Nier Automata and Sonic Mania immensely and have been apart of my regular music rotation. DMC5 battle themes Devil Trigger and Crimson Cloud have been great.
