Still looks to play like your typical ArcSys fighter, despite the whole Rising Thunder one button specials thing, and lack of airdashes.
EDIT: So there’s an option for manually doing special inputs as well. There’s a block button on top of holding back to block. Also, chains are limited to the 3 hit chain.

In other news, it looks like Activison won’t even have any showfloor presence at E3
Considering they usually show new COD games there every year and Sony is out of E3 2019, that leads me to believe they’re instead partnering with Microsoft again and maybe will use their showfloor space, along with a trailer showcase during their press-conference.
It’s a really REALLY sad state of affairs when you consider that Activision pretty much have turned into a Call of Duty machine, with occasional gems like the Spyro and Crash remakes. Every other potential games they could be showing have zero chances
NASCAR games? Lost the license
Marvel Ultimate Alliance? Now a Switch exclusive, and 1+2 received terrible ports (not to mention losing the license followed by the remasters’ removals from the digital stores)
Prototype? Dead in the water, and 1+2 also received terrible and lazy remasters
Transformers? They haven’t done anything since 2015’s Devastation (which was a fucking awesome game btw)
Guitar Hero? Dead, market oversaturation
Destiny? Bungie took that with themselves after the recent contract breakout
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater? Yeah after that dumpster fire of THPS5 we’ll never see another
TMNT? Same case as Transformers
COD money too good to stop pumping out new one every fucking year
Activision still has the Blizzard side of the business.
I count those separately, plus Blizzard never visits E3 (besides that one time they announced Diablo 3 coming to consoles)

Blizzard wants to work more with consoles though. There was just an interview with one of their lead dev’s and they said Blizzard has been “beyond happy” with how Diablo III is doing on the Switch and want to bring more content and eventually exclusive content to the console.

It’s odd because right now searching for it, only EU stuff comes up.

Right now that doesn’t mean anything as the only possible console game they have is Diablo 4, and that’s assuming it doesn’t get delayed for several years due to a major fuckup at launch and a Reaper of Souls v2.0
The only two other console games they have avalialble are Diablo 3 and Overwatch

The switch is region free.
Or just buy it online separately from eBay or someshit.
I’d rather it come with the package I’m buying at the store and I’m not too big on the European covers with the giant Pegi rating on there.
Speaking of things that should be included with the package. Going to grab the Retro-Bit controllers that are designed for the Genesis mini. They work with the Switch so I figure why not.
