Ok, so im not the only one dissapointed with the shooting mechanics of RDR2. The first was smooth as butter, but the cover system in 2 sometimes just doesn’t work

Witcher 3 was too open for me as well so I stopped playing it. But I gave it another shot and all you gotta do is stick to the main story and do a few side quests here n there when you’re up for it and you should be good. The story is pretty good imo.
Its the same Job system that appeared on the Zodiac International Edition of FFXII.
The PS4 version just did a nice job of converting over to HD without changing the base graphics, better rendering and shading. Not sure if they improve the textures and wireframes, but improve just enough where the game still looks familiar. The Switch version seems to be a port of the PS4 version.
The Job system is exploitable, but not as fully robust as Tactics, Its closer to scale to FF3(NES/3DS) and FF5 Job systems.
Despite they called the PS2 version of the Job System edition the “International edition”, it only came out in Japan. It does have additional English Audio Track and support for 16:9 widescreen.

I did three playthroughs of Witcher 3 for all the endings. My first run I did side quests, after that I mostly ignored them unless there was a quest reward I wanted. You can definitely ignore the side shit and stick to the story.
You do yourself a disservice not playing Witcher 3 atleast once and doing the dlc stories too. They were fucking excellent.

Actually it’s not the same. There are a handful of differences, the big main one being you can now choose two jobs instead of just one like in the IZJS version.

sheeeeit, I finally beat King Dice earlier today…while in the waiting room for a dental appointment (portable gaming = superior.)… I happened to make it to him with 4 HP so then it was only a matter of making the plan work…taking that 50/50 gamble on which side he’s going to deal cards from, running there immediately before he moves his arm, and it worked. From there you’re ok since he’s not as complicated as other bosses, really (run + dash to the opposite side of the screen because he will deal from that other side next)…but sometimes he’ll throw you off by using dealing cards from the same hand 2 times in a row…this happened and I had no choice but to quickly try and parry the pink cards to get to that other side, but still took damage; the timing required on that shit (jump+ dash a very specific distance then use the parry to bounce over) is insane.
Borderlands 3!!! It was cool to see the gameplay reveal live today since I happened to be off the whole day; it’s exactly what I expected–generally more of the same, which in the case of Borderlands is a good thing, imo. I don’t think they needed to stream that long though; I didn’t feel the need to watch all of that…I’m already sold on it, basically.
