Just out of curiosity, what other consoles allow you to use controllers between generations?
Edit: Actually, I guess Nintendo let you use GCN controllers on the Wii, and Wii Remotes on the Wii U.
But has Sony or MS allowed older controller support on newer systems? I don’t think Sony has, and I’ve never owned an Xbox so I have no idea.

PS2 allowed you to use PS1 controllers. You can use a PS4 controller on PS3 via USB so that’s forward compatible.

IIRC there were some late gen games on PS3 that let you use DS4 also weren’t there?

I remember there was a firmware update on PS3 that allowed the DS4 to be picked up as a Bluetooth device but there were some problems with it.
That means nothing to me as it tells me jack squat. Last year I got an invite to play the game (BO4) in may. If they announced that then I’m excited.
They are reaching so god damn hard with this. Seriously it was only clear that he stopped slavery from happening and he had to do it several times to get it right. He also said the world is a better place FOR EVERYONE. Like…what do you have to be mad about?
