I played Violent Ken and cheap ass Zero lol. Unlockable characters were def the best part of the game. I never got deep into the meta of it, just played with friends on emulators for fun
i felt the ost was weak compared to most SNK games, but it hand some standout tracks
On another note, just found out about this Sinking City game. Not into detective games, but I could see myself gettin into it, also has a proper combat system too. Looks gorgeous
Even though I grew up with games like Castlevania and Ninja Gaiden, I never liked the fact that I was basically controlling a character as stiff as a truckload of cement. So I am not attached to those older games.
hahaha the stage builder in Smash Bros. Ultimate, manā¦ first thing I made of course was āThe Bowl.ā---- a giant toilet bowl with a huge shit-pile in the middle. I look forward to seeing just how disgusting I can get with this. Iāve already heard talk of a āClimax Sex Stageā that someone actually postedā¦sadly itās probably been taken down by now Iām sure. Ohhhhh this mode they added should be non-stop good times. I was at work while finishing off my designs for āThe Bowlā stage; it was tough to hold in my laughs and still be all professional and shit there. Thereās so many ideas to exploreā¦ like āBig Titty-Landā, or āAbortion Zoneā, etc.
yeah Katana Zero = highly recommended for any 2d action fan. I love everything about it so farā¦first thing I did when getting home today was to buy it and start the download.
Yāall motherfuckers sound like suckers. āAll I need is 1 good game for me to buy the system.ā. Damn, you bustas ready to spend 400 or 500 dollars on a system just cause it has one good game at launch? Fuck dat noise.
With all the games that dropped today, I forgot Konamiās Arcade Classics Anniversary Collection also released today.
HAMSTER worked on this so, for those of you wondering how the emulation is, these guys are up there with M2. The options for scan lines, wide screen, original aspect ration, save point creation, all that good stuff is here.
One thing that is kinda of a bummer is that you canāt choose from multiple ROMs. Like, Gradius is called Nemesis in some territories. For this collection (in the American version, anyway) we have Nemesis, meaning we donāt get changes and alterations that were specific to region versions of the game.
Still, I love having Life Force on the Switch and this will be the first time Iāve ever played Thuder Cross and TwinBee. Planit Ratis can eat a bag of nutsacks.
So I am replaying Final Fantasy 7, and man if you want Aerithās Final Limit break, there quite the grind you need to get though, plus alot of,a alot of backtracking.
I didnāt know till recently you could get the buggy onto the ship from Costa del Sol back to Juno, as there is a river you need the buggy to cross to get to a cave where their a old man that will give you a piece of mythril you need to trade with another NPC (in a weapon shop by it self on the world map back across the ocean, south of Costa del Sol) to unlock one of 2 chess, the smaller chess upstairs has Aerithās Final Limit Break.
The old man in the cave will first tell you how many battles you fought. Get those battles to the last two digits being 11, 33, 55, 77, or 99 he gives you a lighting ring. Get your battle count for the last 2 digits to 22, 44, 66, 88 and he will give you a piece of mythril. You technically can get your self more mythril with a new count every visit.
I liked FF7 a lot and did all of the Aeris side-stuff for fun, even if it was completely pointless in the end since we all know what happens. You didnāt even get trophies/achievements back then!
The best thing to remember is that if you take a certain path in the last dungeon you can get up to 3 Mystile GOAT bracelet/armors instead of the usual 2. If you take the direction that doesnāt have the enemy types that ask for elixirs(which yon can infinitely duplicate using W-item, Megaelixirs and whatever item you can use in battle) that loot on that side of the dungeon can be gotten after you backtrack followed by going the route you didnāt take. Something like that. IIRC your teammates give you the loot they found on the route you didnāt take, and one of them is a Mystile. My memories a bit fuzzy on the specifics but I know you can get 3 Mystiles.
I wonder if the W-item dupe is in the re-released versions. I also wonder if they made any changes to the dialogue/script at all. Iāll someday get the PS4 re-release just as an excuse to replay it again followed by most likely going for the Plat. I do hear there are audio issues and some other funky issues though.
All the newer FF7 ports are based on the Windows PC game that came out in 98.
Only the PSP port is based on the PS1 US/International version game.
Odder still, as the US PS1 version was not out when the PC version was started, the incomplete Japanese version was use as a basis. Leading some minor differences and some translation changes between the PC version and the PS1 version. The PC version addressed some more bug fixes than the PS1 US/International version.
That said the PC version swapped from nice quality sound tracks to midi files.
The change remained for the Stream Release, the PS4 port, Xbox One port and the Switch Port.
And yes the item glitch is still in all versions of the game.
Good thing that the PS4, Xbone and Switch versions dont have the nastiness of the iOS and Android versions.
