the whole drakengard series plays like shit. sadly they were all made before omega force would just make any Musou type game. its defintely the kind of series you play for the weird ass story and characters. the main character in the first game is a genocidal maniac and his party is a child molester and a baby eating elf i believe. but your lucky if that frame rate holds a solid 10.

I enjoyed Drakengard on youtube. Even watching it there was no way I could actually play those games. The frame drops would drive me insane.
“Sonic Creator”…not really. Naoto Ohshima was Sonic’s character designer and Hirokazu Yasuhara the level design. Yuji Naka was the lead programmer but he doesn’t deserved sole credit.

You get Mario and Zelda, everything else belongs to Sega. Splatoon is almost there but cutscenes you can’t skip and being tied to the chat app make it so it still behind Outtrigger and even Alien Front Online (which had voice chat on the DREAMCAST).

The Nintendo brands strengths have usually been their rarity. With a few exceptions Nintendo drops only one or two sequels a generation. This doesn’t count the re-release/port, which if you count arcade and their earlier home game technology efforts they have been doing since the 80s, but they balance their IP and the genres well.
Sega did not know how to do that and due to their arcade based history and cultural issues failed to do the basic stuff expected to capitalize on the success of the Genesis or any of their IP outside of Sonic and maybe some of the European faves like Football Manager.
