#1. That is not true at all.
#2. You are the problem writ small.

Oh itās absolutely true. Tell me, how much thought do you put into the clothes you wear, the food you eat, even the games you play? You know how many ethical breaches are required to make each one of those things a reality? Do you honestly care? No you donāt, because they benefit you. You (speaking to the collective consciousness as a whole) only care when an ethical breach personally affects you in some way or youāre pulled into the tide of public outrage.
Every day people are screwed over in the smallest and biggest of ways and no one speaks out for them. You donāt hear shit about it.
Youāre right, I AM the problem. Iām not fighting against the system, Iām only enabling it. But Iām one of the few willing to admit that fact rather than turn a blind eye to my culpability.
So not only did you make a very stupid blanketed statement youāre doubling down on it.
Neat.
And people are doubling down on āLikingā his stance.
That is kind indicative of how bad a state this nation is in.
Iāll quadruple down on it. I donāt expect anyone to agree with me, youāre grown you can think what youād like. Thatās my stance.
Thatās not this nation. Thatās the world at large. One day I woke up and just stopped giving a shit. Iāll help the people around me, thatās it. The rest can go burn for all I care. If it makes me evil then sign me up for some devil horns.
It does.
Sad truth is youāre in a long ass sorry line for those horns.
Thanks, though.
Now i have a better idea of who all in this forum to never turn my back on
Donāt worry, Iād be sure to plunge the knife in from the front instead.
Youād try.
Sazh is great for that giant cactaur fight though.
Q: What was the game you were the most hype for, but ended up not playing as much as you thought you would?
A: Grand Theft Auto III, which I desired to play after being blown away by Vice City. I wanted to know more about Tommy Vercettiās story, but then I discovered the titles had no continuity. I still enjoyed it and played it through to the end, but Claude Speed is no Tommy Vercetti and the narrative while engaging is done no favors by the hollow and emotionless voice acting in the game.
P.S. On a related note, my most regretted purchase is Final Fantasy X-2. I tried to give it a chance multiple times, but the narrative is awful and the character interactions are cringeworthy. I also expected it to follow up on the decent narrative (overall), great presentation, and amazing setting of Final Fantasy X. Overlooking the obvious awkwardness and pathetic self pity of Tidus, I really enjoyed Xās entourage and direction.
Game I was hype for but didnāt end up playing much
SF5 -Nuff said
Dishonored 2 - I liked the story/world but the gameplay didnāt grab me. Itās a good game just not for me.
Arkham Knight - That damn batmobile! Multiple stealth tank battled where you have to creep on them and then shoot a missile into their bootyhole. Best boss battle is against Rock B on a desert backdrop with all those things
Game I was hyped for but ended up not liking is Xenoblade 2. Heard a lot of great things about the game and from what I seen it definitely looked up my alley. When I actually played the game it bored me. I didnāt like how the battle system worked with the action being passive. The reliance on combos made battles against jobbers drag. I ended up giving up on the game 30 hours in.
I donāt really even like jrpg style games but after playing Crisis Core, I dove head first into FFVII because the story was really compelling. Crisis core made me consider playing more FF games, are there any others that have the same combat that crisis core has?
Final Fantasy type-0
Game I was hyped for ending up not playing: Left Aliveš¤¦š¾
Most regretted purchase: That Bleach game on the Wii. Straight , I knew better too
dbfz has a active community. theres always peeps online. always
Dynasty Warriors 9ā¦broke my heart.
The FGC is full of me-too celebrity worshipping tools though. Daigo signing autographs, folks stanning for name players behaving like children, acting like video games are the NFL, community members that donāt stick with anything. The reason the FGC is where it is now because thatās what the community wanted.
This so much. I stopped going to locals because Iām interested in Samurai Shodown, I donāt care about SFV, Tekken, DBZ, etc and itās pretty much the same as what you described, where everyone plays the new freshness āseriouslyā for 2 weeks then goes back to whatever shit they were playing before. I want to be really really good at the games I play, and because of that I donāt really play casually, so playing games I donāt really care about seems like a waste of time.
FC, while it has its flaws, is a great place to learn and itās a great way to get people to take a chance on a game because thereās no barrier of entry. I can say that without Fightcade, thereād probably be no SamSho 5 Special community like there is now.
