Video Game General 6.3: Sekiro has so many damn chickens man. Chickens Everywhere!

I thought so too but Shadow of Tomb Raider came out around Sept 14 , a week after SM and is on sale for 30 at Target.

Soul Calibur 6 came out in Oct. and is on sale for 35.
I figured FOTNS sort of flew under most folks radars so it would be likely to get a sale.

FOTNS is so low key, it flew under the U.S. stores’ radar, as well, I’d wager.

Did anywhere actually stock the PS3 one?

Or was it just available as a special order, as most rare things seem to be in brick and mortar, these days?

…this is coming from someone who special ordered (and platted) the PS3 one.

Spider-Man is only on sale as part of a PS4 bundle. Better hope Gamestop puts the standalone game on sale.

For a game so big on customization, they should have let you customize your character appearance in PoE. I legit never got far into it back then because I wanted to be a Templar, but I don’t want to be an old man. Haven’t gave it another chance since. I’ll prob come around to it.

Also Black Ops 4 came out after Spider-Man as well, also getting a sale.

Here is a pretty comprehensive list (Courtesy of Cheap Ass Gamer) of all known Black Friday deals with links etc. By the looks of it, no Spiderman or HnK, but hopefully other people can find a deal on games they’re looking for:

End of an Era. Prima Games closing it doors Q2 of next year.

As someone who stills buys/collects strategy guides this is really sad. They’ve wrote such high quality guides for so many of my most beloved titles.

The fact they lasted this long through the rise of IGN and GameInformer is a testimony of how good their guides were but the times finally caught up with them.

What a shame. RIP

Gimme a Metroid or Bayo 3 trailer please

Spyro is 67 gigs

Wait, have you never played Astebreed? It’s a really freaking good shmup. It’s not a S&P/Panzer Dragoon style game though, it’s just a shmup that changes perspectives.

Isn’t there like one other major guide maker still?

Brady?

I think brady is still around. Along with a company called Piggyback but Prima use to be the go-to and standard for strategy guides.

Oh, no doubt.

I always liked their guides far better.

Better layout, higher quality, better info.

Versus was nice back when.

I have never seen a guide for any game of as high quality as the Versus SFA2 book.

That thing was mad legit.

If they had made a hardbound edition, it would be in my bedstand where most hotels keep their Bibles, still.

As it stands, I wore the cover off of it Iong years ago.

Doubt my guy will ever be like that cause I’m just leveling him as I see fit but I’ll give it an other shot.

No never played astabreed but it looks awesome.

Decided to give The Witcher 3 another try a few weeks ago. Finally completed the game and the dlc tonight. Game was great, but just like with every open-world game, I find doing most of the side stuff to get pretty boring. So while I did do some side quests/contracts, I mainly stuck to the main quest and side quests that involved the other main characters. Once I limited myself to that, I had a blast with the game.

I got the ending where Ciri becomes a Witcher. It was pretty weak with them just showing you stills of what happened to everyone. And then you get thrown back into Kaer Morhen post-game, only to find out that you are all alone. Holy shit, I felt so empty and lonely. Didn’t know if i wanted to continue with the DLC or not at that point. It wasn’t until I read that you see Yen(in my case) at the end of B&W and it is considered the true ending that I decided to play the DLC.

HoS was meh. B&W was better but partly because you get a whole new area to explore. Didn’t enjoy either as much as the main story… probably because all the main chars were long gone.

The trilogy is on sale on steam again so I just got 1 and 2 for ~$4. Gonna start part 1 this weekend.

It is. I nabbed it on the PS4 earlier this year. It was one of the first games that caught my interest for the system, when I was rocking Wii U. Would’ve waited had I known it might come to Switch. Now I’m waiting for the M2 Shot Triggers line since I feel confident we’ll be getting Battle Garrega and other titles from that line.

Bro spoiler that shit don’t go saying the ending of a godamn game like that.

I think I’ve done just about everything in this current playthrough of DSIII. I just need to axe The Nameless King and maybe grind out some covenant items to get some covenant exclusive spells/gear.

I got enough Vitality to rock my +10 Refined Exile GreatswArd. FINALLY feel like I’m doing some damage. Lothric Knight SwArd is fast but it doesn’t hit hard at all, even refined+upgraded I feel like it does barely any damage. Then again, a lot of enemies seem to have beefcake health in this game.

@Sacr3D If you want I can invite you to the guild with me and some EX-SRKers(lol.)

I can toss you a bunch of low level items to help you get started. One thing to remember is that anytime you do a quest and you get a bunch of skill gems as an award, you can buy them all afterwards from the main vendor in town. You should have gotten a “Leap Slam” gem in Act 1 at some point, pair this with “Faster Attacks” that you’ll get from a random Act 2 quest and you’ll be able to leap around like a rabbit on crack once you stack some attack speed. :+1:
