Borderlands 3 needs to come out, and put Destiny 2 out of itself/misery.

Ask Luke’s force ghost.

Rian tells me he’s down for shit like that.

You and Luke together could make Destiny 2 lick as well as suck.

I find Orphan of Kos quite a bit harder, but Nameless King is an asshole to, tho I honestly think the thing that makes Nameless King as hard as he is, is the invisible floor. It fucks with depth perception really bad and makes the fight a lot harder then it probably really is.

Did they ever get load times down to a reasonable level?

I might pick up a Pro soon, and slap an SSD in it, so maybe I’ll finally give it a go.

I know a lot of people who switched to MonHun from Destiny because it scratched that same ā€œkill stuff, get gear/lootā€ itch, and stayed.

I know I’m going to give it a whirl.

They are down to about Dark Souls 1 times now. It’s still a bit long, but hey if you don’t die you dont have to look at the loading screen

Remembers they forced a Hub system into the game like in Demons Souls and you have to look at two loading screens every time you level up and gets a little salty.

I do to actually. And I spent some good time with Monster Hunter until God of War came out. Couldn’t get into Warframe though.

Miiiiiight have to double-dip on Donkey Kong TF, just for the sake of faster load times.

Some of my favorite games this gen have same lame ass load times. Namely looking W101, Bloodborne (couldn’t imagine this one during its launch let alone without boost mode), DK:TF, BotW, DOOM. I feel the one thing that Sony could get me on board with next-gen within the first year is to make games bc with enhancements such as load times and even resolution and frame rate(fat chance).

BULLETSTORM BOIZ, ALWAYS BET ON DUKE

Yeah, The Nameless King was a bitch. Once I slapped on a Great Shield over a regular shield and could actually block his attacks while only taking a little bit of chip damage instead of like 1/4th of my lifebar in chip, I took him down in like 2-3 tries after that.

I cleared the Profane capital though poor Siegward got rekt because I couldn’t figure out how to use the Storm Rulers special attack in time. I don’t think I missed anything with him dying except for a Tittynite slab though+his armor so it wasn’t that big of a deal.

I axed Aldritch by rushing him down and playing it like it was the Crystal Sage 2.0, I took out the Dancer of Boreal Valley but man she whooped my ass multiple times this time around. I don’t remember having that much trouble with her a few years ago. I made it through the area where you fight Ocerios while taking him out on my first try, then I cleared all the way up to The Nameless King(saving this fight for the very last thing I do in this playthrough) followed by BBQing the Untended Graves with an NPC SwArdmaster summon assist and finally taking out Dragonslayer’s Armor on my first try before clearing 95% of the Grand Archives.

I’ve been tossing points into Vitality like crazy and now I can finally rock the ol’ Murakumo. I’ll either be rocking the Murakumo or the Exile GreatswArd for the rest of the playthrough+any playthroughs I end up doing after that. I just like the balance of big daddy kane damage+relatively quick swipes that Curved GreatswArds offer. I rocked them almost exclusively in DS1/2. My Murakumo is +8 and isn’t even refined and it hits way harder than my +9 Refined Lothric Knight SwArd. I can’t imagine the disgusting damage a +10 Refined Exile GreatSwArd would do, but goddamn is that +17 weight requirement brutal.

'DAT EPILOGUE!!!:sunglasses:
The final mission…ended with the most satisfying kill in all of the franchise!!

Tried playing POE. God that game looks complicated as shit. Got to Act 2 with the marauder then decided that this game isn’t for me. I don’t see the hype. The gameplay isn’t that fun when compared to Diablo 3 (and I hate d3)

i played final fantasy 15 when it first came out so my impression of the game isn’t the greatest but i do hope square gets it together for the ff7 remake after that and the 10 spinoffs and or sequels its going to get i don’t really care what happens to ff as long as dragon quest continues to be good.

damn this temptation, man… D3 is getting me to consider getting Nintendo’s half-ass Online Service just to play online with a few people…at least for a while once I get my favorites to level 70…it’s surprising I’m not there yet, actually [*since there’s a lot going on at work now…of course] *edit–my necro ā€œAzazelā€ is level 45 now… wizard ā€œStefanoā€ is level 60.

heh, my Necromancer actually ran into a nemesis monster recently…and it’s still kind of weak…doesn’t have a good build just yet so of course I had no chance. So…now I have a ā€œlevel 2ā€ Nemesis out there waiting to strike again. I absolutely love that concept, man… it keeps getting stronger each time it has killed a player character. More games need to just shamelessly steal that concept, man. I’d hope they have ā€œNemesis Monsterā€ again in D4… this needs to be a regular thing… I’d prefer if it’s appearance was dependent on which monster it was previously, btw…that’s how I assumed it would be anyway when I was just finding out about it…I’d also make it stronger based on the monster’s previous status/rank too… like one that is already ā€œblueā€ or elite-status would make for a nemesis that starts off stronger than one that was previously a common monster.

It’s a VERY complicated game. It’s one of the things that makes it so good though - you always learn something new every time you play and it helps give the game infinite replay value. Most games you can see and do everything in 8-15 hours, Souls games you can see and do mostly everything as well as getting the Plat in 80-100ish hours. PoE? 1000’s of hours and I’m still learning new things.

Just like with most good RPG’s/action RPG’s when you’re low level you’re weak as shit and it shows in the combat unless you have very specific low level items that are made specifically to help you blast through the levelling process. You’re level 15ish in Act 2 so you haven’t even seen a glimpse of what the combat has to offer. It’s not until you get some decent gear and a decent build going(which might not happen your first time through, you might mess up your first few builds) is when the game starts to really shine. For example your items probably have like 2-4 sockets right? Each socket can be used for a certain skill while combined with other gems/skills to make that specific skill(s) even better.

One cool example is a gem called ā€œCast when Damage Taken.ā€ Just like it sounds, when you take X amount of damage you’ll cast whatever gems you have paired with it. This can be a golem/minion of some kind, a curse that will debuff all enemies around you, a spell of some kind, a defensive spell, or literally all of those things combined. That’s just one example of how crazy and deep the game can be.

^ Just watch like the first two minutes of that video to get a glimpse of how crazy and fast the combat can be. Also listen to those crunchy and satisfying sound effects. The sound design is fantastic in this game. :+1:

Does anyone know if Spider-man PS4 and Fist of the North Star: Lost Paradise (PS4) will have any black Friday sales?

I looked through some Target/BB/Walmart BF ads and couldnt find any.
Thanks for any help.

I highly doubt it. They’re too new of games to go on sale yet, even for Black Friday
