Dissidia has Final Destination with no Items. I guess we’ll go Tidus Only.

It’s impressive how Square still supports Dissidia. Completely flew under the radar with little fanfare.

dissidia is one of those games that would have been funner if it had just stayed the way it was an unbalanced fanservice fighter with over the top super moves.

Dissidia fucking owns, y’all don’t even realize.

On the older side, I wonder who the best S-Groove characters are in CvS2.

Whoever Dr. B uses. Iirc he uses Dictator/Cammy/Sagat

I haven’t heard a dr.b reference for a minute.

He was at Evo this year. He played in the cvs2 side tournament. I think he got top 2 or 3? He lost to BAS, that’s all I know.

MS really did acquire Obsidian. They also nabbed InXile who also make cRPGs. Looks like the total number of now in-house studios is 13.

EA sinking to new lows. Releases dates being paywalled now

Mega Buster in DMCV reminds me of Samus’s arm cannon in Bayonetta 2. Shitty that it’s a DLC item, but I might bite anyways…

I’m almost down for Travis Strikes Again, but I don’t know. I’ll probably grab it, just not too sure. Depends if I have a hole burning my pocket at the time.

EA = IIE.

Obvious is obvious.

Daps, Nippon, daps.

Microsoft purchase of Obsidian and Inxile is official.

why is MS buying up all these dev companies again? what do they plan? i know when EA bought devs up it was to straight up nuke em but as for MS…?

Finally digging into DS1 after playing bloodborne and ds3- actually bought ds1 in the 360 years ago and just couldn’t get into the slow pace after playing dragon’s dogma. Got to say, some of the things they did in ds1 are downright hateful. Got cursed while wondering around the swamp in blighttown, couldn’t find my way out due to an asinine ladder placement. Finally beat the damn lava spider while cursed, then went back through through the great hollow and into Ash lake where the damn Hydra and it’s random ass water shots mopped me in the gimped state. Got to the end of the area, then had to hike all the way back, still cursed. Finally got out of the area and plunked down the souls needed for a purging stone, but I’m pretty bitter about how much of my day was wasted by that bullshit curse. Add that trash to the poison swamp and the wonky ass platforms in upper blighttown, and I’m feeling like someone at from software needs a good stout kick in the balls for that area.

I’ve almost finished my episode 2 playthrough of DUSK. This game is fantastic if you’re a fan of oldschool shooters and it has some of the most amazing, most creative level design I’ve ever seen in any game let alone an FPS game. E2M5 blew my mind.

You’re actually supposed to hit those places up later on, since you get an item that allows you teleport but only to specific bonfires.

I learned my lesson with those frog things and never let them curse me in any Souls game. If you want an amazing weapon early on to help you BBQ everything, get the Gravelord SwArd followed by the Murakumo. They do insane damage, and in the case of the Murakumo, that thing carried me to NG++ when I was going for the Platinum on the PS4 re-release.

If you want to farm Souls, buy the Crest of Artorias I think it’s called from the blacksmith. This allows you to go into an area where each enemy gives you a couple thousand souls each with a secret bonfire nearby, so you can rack up an insane amount of souls in a small amount of time.

To bolster their first party efforts which was one of the complaints about them and their software line up this gen. This is them prepping for next generation.
