Playing PoE mixed in with Dark Souls III. I’m at the huge lake area with the black knight and the GIANT ENEMY CRAB.
What are some awesome one-handed swords I should upgrade? I remember the Dark Sword was amazing but it got nerfed to hell IIRC. I’m rocking a Broadsword +3 right now and I like this weapon type a lot as well as Scimatars. @Radiantsilvergun3@Gasaraki@Hawkingbird any recommendations d00dz?
80% of them can be gotten as PlayStation Classics already so I’m guessing the work to license those titles again was already mostly done and that it cost Sony a peanut & bean. I’d bet that had something to do with it.
This is a missed opportunity to turn the thing into a PSTV 2.0, if it could connect to the internet and download PS Classics/PSP games that would have been huge imo, but it’d definitely cost more.

The Dark Sword is what I used until it was nerfed to shit. If you have the dex for it and don’t mind specialization I recommend the Sunlight straight sword. Lothric Knight Sword works well for anything you want it to do.
Alrighty, going to go kill some Lothric Knights for their sword. I’m guessing “refined” is the way to go since it gets a B scaling from both Dex and Strength?
I want to do multiple playthroughs for the eventual Plat so I want to min/max as much as possible if I can. I’m also taking my time a bit more with this playthrough, I just killed the Deacon boss in the Cathedral then patches screwed me over.
I’m wondering who’s it actually supposed to be for then?
Nobody that plays one plays the other. People that want a ‘party fighter’ are probably going to play Smash, or a clone, and also something with 4P, not something that looks like a standard fighter. And the other half probably thinks exactly like I do.
Sunlight Straightsword is nice cause of the free buff(as in don’t need a spell for it) that can even buff allies but LKS is better even when both are compared with a respective optimum build. And yeah, Refined for LKS.
