nah, surprisingly I still haven’t tried Grim Dawn, though I like what I see anytime I’ve looked up footage of it…that and especially Wolcen look like the real standouts in the genre for the modern era to me.
damn this superchat thing is ridiculous on youtube… I’m watching a stream now; dude just went live about 2 minutes ago and people have already sent him about 65 bucks in that superchat money. The guy hasn’t even begun speaking yet
Saw all main endings in Nier:A. Then self pwned myself by erasing all my data…
Don’t feel bad about it or pissed oddly. I didn’t get to make it back to the resistance camp and debug mode sounded awesome End credits were awesome and I’m playing with network features on this time. Don’t remember that either…
Started a new game regardless. It seems different with the dialogue. That’s probably what happens when you have a ten month gap from the first ending after somewhat rushing to it, though.
THIS time, I’m unlocking the weapon stories. This will by November game, lol.
EDIT: I don’t remember too much of how the ending played out in Route A other than what I played of B, so it’ll be a nice refresher.
They’d been downgrading the importance of armor since DSII.
As a fashion player in every Souls game tho, I cant say I minded either way, rarely did I equip myself for a specific fight or something. I did hate that you couldn’t upgrade armor at all, I really enjoyed doing that in DS1, but eh, was like playing DeS again.
The worst thing to happen to DSII and III was bonfire warping from the get go. The forced hub nature of II and III sucks the most imo, for multiple reasons.
dont know if this statement will truly hold up. but Motion Twin stating there will be no sequel to Dead Cells.
turn on closed captioning for english subtitles
That’s the poster I was trying to remember, Black Jaguar! I think I posted something like “LOL, I’m glad it happened to you” or something along those lines, lol. I’d have to search that thread, or maybe I was just thinking about it.
Regardless, I already started a new file and am back at the resistance camp I don’t remember much of the story from the first playthrough so I’m hoping to redo it without the ~10 month gap so the story stick more in my head. After the 9S playthrough, I was like “…that’s what happened.” I racked up almost 40 hours, but again over a period of time. This time I’m doing the sidequests and leveling up the weapons. My pod was level 1 the whole time, and I didn’t get the third second until the 9S playthrough, recently.
Reading some story discussion and I missed a lot that I’ll notice more this time around. 2B fist clench at the bunker in the beginning, as one example. Started watching some combo videos too since I stayed away from those and I didn’t recognize 98% of the moves.
Thanks to the P*goodness, a repeated playthrough is always that much better. This time I’ll be diving in.
EDIT: I didn’t post “I’m glad it happened to you”, but I should have. I was thinking of his post to but couldn’t remember if it actually did it.
put gauntlets weapon on 2B
i dont know if you equip it as light or heavy. think heavy and watch her do some ill kicks you never seen her do before. she does a sliding sweep i know that. i think its heavy attack while running.
nah, checked its perfect evade counter with the gauntlets for a slide sweep. whatever. point is. fuck around and mix it up.
i already wrote you what imo was the best weapons after leveled to max.
They really should patch in standard FG controls to that game. It has the content, I mean they added Skullo, who I used in SFEX, and FEXL, they added Ms.X, AND added a sick remix of the theme. I literally uploaded the original Ms.X theme from Gals Fighters like 10 years ago, after recording it to cassette from my actual NGPC, 10 years earlier than that. I had the only upload of that theme, until the character was announced for this game. (gay). And the combos in all the character trailers look sick. Way more juggles than KOF.
But the casual controls… I don’t get it. The original Gal’s Fighter is on a 2 button hardware, and it has standard controls. Of course, like everyhandheld fighter, there was ‘tap’ and ‘press’.
I almost feel like I should buy it, since I bought SF5, and 4, and MVC3. if I gave Capcom money for horseshit, does SNK deserve something for at least providing content that I agree with? But at the end of the day, I’m not going to play that game. It either plays like Smash, or something like Evil Zone, and all I want to do is come up with nasty combos…using normal controls. Obviously you can do the combos since they’re doing them in trailers…but I mean…what is it? P, P, P >+P, K, K, >+KK?
Sony announced all 20 games for the PlayStation Classic. I feel like there are A LOT of missed opportunities but not a bad list. I’m still excited, I guess.
There’s no way to make everyone happy by limiting yourself to 20 PS1 games. It’s an okay list but I’m surprised there’s no Tomb Raider or WipeOut. During my early teens those were the PS1 games to have.
The sequels to both Twisted Metal and Destruction Derby should have been included instead of the originals, they were A LOT better than the originals. Still a pretty solid list though. It’s hard to just put 20 games on there though and not miss a lot. PSX had so many great games.
How did Gran Turismo not make the list? I know that Ridge Racer got racing covered but GT is too important to pass over. Why is Rainbow Six on there? I’ll understand if it was a collection of classic PC games but it didn’t make it’s name on Playstation.
