Video Game General 6.3: Sekiro has so many damn chickens man. Chickens Everywhere!

Got endings ABDGHW in Nier:A. I thought I picked a different choice but the dialogue went on to make it seem like I didn’t  which gave me ending D. Either way, game is awesome. Reinforces just how STACKED 2017 was.

On to Mario Maker later today. That leaves Bloodborne to finish before the end of the year. Probably save that one for December though.

Imma ALMOST think ‘bout doin’ sumtin’… wait. WTF… why you play yo’self, game? Why you play ME? I ain’t 'BOUT that choice you made, game! FUUUUUUUUU!

EDIT:

Takin’ it back around to the GOAT of Souls, at least Yurt potentially merkin’ NPCs off-screen was due to your choice to free him or not.

Definitely do-able, Bloodbornes the shortest Souls game.

I despise 99% of shooters and most certainly would never play something like Mass Effect even if it was free like Mass Effect 2 was for some month of PS Plus.

That’s what I’ve heard but I feel it’ sooo far away, haha. I’m at the bosses the end of the woods where there’s three of them. Am I at the half point mark or close to the half way point?

So what the flying fuck do you like, because all you ever do is talk about shit you hate. You’re one of the worst posters on this forum, just bile from you 24/7.

What the fuck do you like?

This new reply system can go to hell, why can you only reply to one person at a time?

Anyway yea the Shadows of Yarhnam are about the midway point depending on if you do any of the optional areas like one of the Nightmares. You could skip the Nightmare Frontier if you like honestly, but i really do recommend doing Cainhurst Castle. Its completely optional but its well worth doing, some weapon upgrade pick ups in there, you get a couple weapons and couple armor sets for doing all the Cainhurst related content. Get to see someone from the Lore to which is always nice in these games

Derp so the boss I’m on only takes damage if I hit him in certain spots in DSIII.

I quit out in the middle of the fight. Maybe if I hop back on I’ll still be alive, max Estus and all.

I like strategical physical violence, going fast, doing aerial stunts/jumps, and finding treasure. I also like psychological thrillers, horror, and action heroes.

So no games then? Figures

You should spawn outside the boss fog like every other DS game. Which boss are you on? Tryong to remember which one only has specific damage spots and i can only think of one and…well…he’s pretty easy. No real reason to run…

Play the original Quake.

I quit out in the middle of he fight earlier because I thought I had to do something within the level itself before I could damage the boss. I finished the game near release but I don’t remember much going back in.

I Platinum’d Demons, DS1 & 2 but I haven’t Platted DSIII or BB. I want to eventually change that. :+1:

By Gods, I platted DaSo1, too.

We were running through it at the same time, iirc.

I never did Plat DeSo.

Something to do with Black Blobs and Pure Bladestone.

DaSo2 couldn’t hold my attention long enough, given the fucked iFrames and hit boxes.

I still beat it, however.

I liked the sheer O.P.ness of Lit Builds, before they got need to shit, though.

3 kinda failed at all turns, and then went and removed good parts of the last games.

3 sucked.

Yakuza, Bully, Streets of Rage, Golden Axe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: The Arcade Game, Virtua Fighter, Tekken (prior to TTT2), Kengo II, Soul Calibur (prior to V and excluding the original IV in favor of Broken Destiny), Real Bout Fatal Fury, The Last Blade, King of Fighters (from '95 to 2000), Samurai Shodown (II and IV), Power Instinct, Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3, Injustice II, LOTUS II, Outrun, Ford Racing 3, Forza Horizon, Go Vacation!!!, Sonic and Sega Racing, Saints Row IV, GTA (VC,VCS,SA,BoGT), Super Mario Bros. 1 and 3, Earthworm Jim, Quack Shot Starring Donald Duck, Darkwing Duck, Psychonauts, Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater, Legend of Zelda (1,2,LTTP,LA,OoT,TP), Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning, Chrono Trigger, Langrisser II, Final Fantasy VI, Monster World IV, Indigo Prophecy, The Darkness, Bioshock (1), Silent Hill (1 to 4+SM), Resident Evil (1, 2, 4, and Outbreaks), Contra, Ghostbusters (II and newest), James Bond 007:From Russia With Love, No More Heroes (1), Wolfenstein 3D, Duke Nukem (3D,TTK), TimeSplitters, Spider-Man (PS1), and many many more titles which you probably never liked or heard of that all fall under the description given above.

I loved Dark Souls II. There are people who love to shit on it and there are people who love it, but I thought it was great and the Scholar of the First Sin re-release made it even better. There was an insane amount of variety in the levels of the game(moreso than any other game in the series) and people consider its DLC areas to be Dark Souls at its best.

There was a stat you could level up that would give you more i-frames on your dodge. I didn’t find an issue with the hitboxes at all. If you got hit, even if the attack barely grazed your character, you got hit. It was that way in Demon’s and DS1 too. I also liked that enemies in general were more difficult compared to DS1, where you could BBQ every encounter by literally strafing to the left and right during fights. The tracking some enemies had made you have to actually time your dodges a bit better and you couldn’t force attacks to whiff by…strafing to the left and right.

I’ve only played through and beaten DSIII once but I can’t say it sucked. I will say it’s my least played Souls game next to BB though, but imma hop back into here in a sec if no one is playing Fighting EX Layer.

Apparentlly Wolfensteing youngblood is coming to switch

Never thought Bethesda would be the one to support Nintendo this much

I thought DSIII kicked DSII square in the nuts in pretty much every conceivable way. Everything about it is better then 2 and it only barely lags behind 1 and Bloodborne.

I found it too corridor-y, and the downgrading of armor to Fashion Souls status, was a huge letdown.

I LIKED the upgrading in 1 & 2.

y’know, the sad feeling of upcoming disappointment is already starting to form with whatever Blizzard’s Diablo announcement is…because I just realized… “multiple Diablo projects in the works!” <—this probably means “NOW ENJOY DIABLO ON YOUR IPHONE AND TABLETS!” (part 1, not 2.) and some other random cell-phone shit.

…and… probably Diablo: BATTLE ROYALE EDITION! of course…can’t forget that juicy bandwagon…it’s probably best that fans keep the expectations low.:pensive: At the very end they may mention D4 but that’s probably still a couple of years away.:disappointed:

It COULD be Diablo 2 Remastered, Wowablo, and Diablo 4.

One can hope.

For the latter’s, at any rate.

Especially if it is a combination of Diablo 1 and Diablo 2, with none of that 3 smell.

In the meantime, I am HYPE as can be for Grim Dawn: The Forgotten Gods.

Have you tried it, yet?
