DQX producer wants to turn X into an offline game for the west
Is that Corpse Party trailer for a collection? I hope so as I been wanting to get into that series.
i am 100% down with a offline single player version of DQX
If they could get Grim Dawn to run on Switch, then I would get a Switch.

Switch could not handle it.
Wii U could barely handle it with massive installs.

XBCX had a 12 gig install on a 32gb system (really about 26-28) and you couldnât download the install unless you had 20gb free on your Wii U. It was really piss poor planning on Nintendoâs part. You have to have a huge day one install for the switch version as well, and while the switch has the option of using an SD card to increase your storage it would still be quite a large install base considering how much theyâd have to change with the port.
Yea I just figure during the porting process they could probably make an effort to fix that dumbassery.

Iâm sure they could compress it down somewhat, Nintendo are masters at condensing and compressing game file sizes but XBCX is a huuuuge game In size and visually. Theyâd have to sacrifice a lot if they wanted to port it to Switch if they wanted to eliminate such a high install base.

It could work on the Switch but it would be a bigger investment compared to other Wii U titles to port. One issue besides itâs incomplete story mode and frankly the character models arenât going to win them any awards or praise outside of the fans of the original.
They may as well just make a XCX 2 with a new story, similar game play and tweaked engine then to try to bring over the hodge podge beast that was the original. Although as a fan I would double dip.
the skeptic in me believes x and Tokyo mirage sessions are just stuck on wii u.
XCX staying on the Wii U just makes it that much more awesome. Call me an asshole but I like having things others canât have or missed out on shrug
Speaking of awesome Yakuza Kiwami 2. Soo~ good! Just need the remasters for 3-5 and I can go back to playing Yakuza 6. Kamurocho in the Dragon in Engine is too beautiful. The RGG team is the only thing keeping me on Sony systems. Spider-Man was awesome and Ghosts of Tsushima looks great, but this is the series and team that will convince me to jump in on future Sony systems.

while i do get why system exclusives are a good thing its never good when those games canât ever move forward in their own ecosystems i personally think itâs a shame people might not ever get to play stuff like the shadow hearts games unless they go out of their way to emulate them.

I kinda get that, I have some rare games I kinda love specifically cause they are rare (They are also good tho, i donât like owning bad games) I have Popful Mail and Radiant Silvergun for example. Awesome games but I do like that they are desired.
