Seeing the updated graphics, Iâm fine with them using the original assets. The graphics in the cancelled build, while good, still look about a generation behind (especially 2) and Iâd rather the classic look be preserved if we canât get something that looks up to date.

They literally just released Valkyria Chronicles 4, a franchise beloved by fans but one that never was a big hit. And a few weeks ago they announced Streets of Rage 4. IMO theyâre back on the right track. Ending the console business was the right decision back then, they wouldnât have survived against PS2 and they certainly wouldnât have been able to keep up with the generations after that. Nintendo only barely got through that period thanks to strong handheld sales and a lucky hit with Wii.
The Shenmue thing is unlucky but I can see why they considered it too risky.
I still dig Shenmueâs graphics, and Iâm liking what I see of S3.
Wish they were still making consoles. Dreamcast was more forward thinking than it gets credit for. They still couldâve kept up, but oh well.
Sounds like we might getting the spin-off Yakuza games going by the last survey, too. Majority of my planned purchases next year are SEGA games. Just glad they are localizing their games more than last-gen without the petition bullshit.
ha, some interesting mixed emotions with thisâŠat first it was cool yet frustrating that a special edition D3 Switch was coming out because I already have the systemâŠbut then I saw how it is yet another lazy special edition where they just put some art on the dockâŠand NOTHING on the joycons. Even that stupid ass Smash bundle had the lazy white lines added to the joyconsâŠthis time they didnât do shit on the joycons at allâŠthatâs just⊠kind of funny in how half-ass it is.

P.S. Vice City remains Rockstarâs most memorable game for me and its largely because of all the actors that participated in its making and the licensed music. Rockstar should get over Burt Reynolds as he has already left this world. This game had some real comedy gold!

I never imagined Nintendo would be the lazy ones when it comes to special alternate versions of their systemâŠwe all remember the various âstylesâ the Gameboy had back in the day⊠and there were several color variants of the Gamecube too. Iâm already wondering what the next âSpecial Editionâ will be that only has some line-art on the dock and nothing else going on.

That may factor but I still think think that not having to worry about paying or setting residuals in larger amounts to bigger name actors and music talents is the major factor. At this point most celebrities and their management should know Rockstar makes insane amounts of money, so giving your likeness or voice at a substantial rate would be the order of the day.
I think Rockstar is full of shit. They donât want to Shell out the big bucks and going to unknowns as they will be easier to screw over.

A Hollywood voice actor rarely lends anything to the script an unknown but actual voice actor can. Very few Hollywood actors have impressed me when making the jump to pure VO.

Also itâs easier to go with unknowns, especially those with out S.A.G. membership and screw them out of much more than just pay.

All the Genesis/MegaDrive and Master system games compatible with this, and it has the expansion slot to connect to a Sega CD/Mega CD add on. It only lacks 32X support, but the 32X has a tiny library with not many good titles.
