Hey I haven’t posted much all year just busy with work, hell I didn’t even watch E3 yet except for EA’s lame conference.
Haven’t had much time to play video games either, but in ST managed to get first place at Defend the North a couple months ago, and got first place at The Fall Classic 2 weeks ago which was a qualifier for Tournament of Legends 3 happening Oct 25-28th at Canada Cup. Hope yall will tune in and lend me your spirit energy I’m going to need it. I believe Canada Cup is streaming it and if possible please donate to the TOL 3 fundrasier, the ST community as small as it is organizes all of this including air fare for some of the 5 japanese invites out of pocket outselves we never have any sponsors or outside assistance just us old men supporting this old ass game we love with a passion.
If you enjoy watching high level ST between the top US, EU, and Japanese and can afford to throw the TO’s a few bucks to help recoup costs of airline tickets for the Japanese it would be really appreciated:

Really glad Guacamelee 2 is coming to Switch. Figured it would, but not this soon. Still waiting on the M2 Shot Trigger line to come to Switch, and all will be right with the world.
Just finished Spider-Man. Game was awesome and kicked my ass early on. Poses a solid challenge, but can be steam rolled with enough practice. Even with that ,I’ll be doing replays, because it’s that good.
Now I can go back to Kiwami 2, unlocking moves and being a cabaret manager
I’m surprised Guacamelee “Super Turbo Edition” showed up on Switch, actually…just wasn’t expecting that… it’s already on there right now and on sale. Sheeeeit, I’ll get that soon before the sale ends… I had that game on Vita too but never finished it.
I really, really hope game-streaming fails as hard as possible. The tragic thing is that a LOT of the younger gamers/generations out there probably don’t care (or are too ignorant or stupid to engage in any kind of long-term thinking)…they just roll over and accept bullshit like this.
*some like to bring up music now— I’m still old-fashioned in that I prefer to actually HAVE my goddamn music; fuck this horseshit that goes on today with the streaming. If the internet goes out or a company’s servers are undergoing maintenance or die my jam session is STILL GOING ON. Fuck any of that “internet-required” nonsense.
I hated the cabaret/construction crap in Yakuza 0 and I hated that money was tied to upgrading your character stats and skills.
In Kiwami 2 though, there’s an entire story involved with the hostess stuff as well as some sub stories tied to it as well and I’m actually enjoying it this time around. The minigame is whatever(not a fan of the construction/tower defense mini game with Majima either) but the story involved with the Majima construction is pretty interesting(THE THREE MUSKETEERS.) I’ll most likely see it to the end as well.
I haven’t even touched the extra Majima side-story stuff you can access from the main menu yet either. The amount of content in this game is pretty crazy AND the game released at a budget price.

Streaming services for games never took off for a reason. The experience is horrible and it’s a death sentence to games that need twitch responses. It’s just not practical for a lot of games.
What these execs don’t realize that that games aren’t exactly like movies/shows. The latter are much easier to stream simply because it’s a one way thing - the data only flows from the server to the client. They’re totally forgetting the fact that games are an interactive medium, one that’ll suffer much more from bad connections.
