Video Game General 6.3: Sekiro has so many damn chickens man. Chickens Everywhere!

I played Mario64, MK64, Smash, Golden Eye, Perfect Dark, Pod Racers, Yoshi’s Story, and then I went to college and stopped playing video games for a few years until I got a GCN.

That sounds very much like Yamamuchi but in truth gaming was just a business venture for him. He built the culture on affordable technology and mass appeal which to be fair has kept Nintendo afloat.

Telltale requests that walking dead final chapter be taken off sale

Yeah I think this is a wrap. Getting sued was the nail in the coffin for this getting finished.

Now with random clips of starfox

Looks like those modes that were going to be coming to switch’s version of dbfz are also coming to the others

Also halloween costumes for the avatars, halloween colors for the characters

Somehow Ron Pearlman and T.I. got roped into the monster hunter movie

It’s one of my favorite games. I like the game so much I’ve bought every single re-release to date and I’ve beaten it god knows how many times. I even dumped almost a hundred bucks a few years ago on a black label copy for PS1 even though I already owned it digitally+physically for the PSP.

It’s a timeless game with a ton of replayability. It also has one of the best soundtracks OF ALL TIME.

There’s so many secrets/little easter eggs that it’s still a blast when you replay it imo. Then you factor in stuff like Richter mode/Maria mode in the PSP release and it just adds to the replay value.

How is Starlink not a Starfox game? It has so much Starfox content it might as well be a game in that series.

Because Star Fox is added as an afterthought, they just execute it well

Considering the legal pains they probably had to go through to get a Nintendo character in a new IP that’s also multiplatform I kind of doubt it’s been an ‘afterthought’.

Obviously you never see DK and Bowser added as bonus characters in Skylanders.

Nintendo is purposely only showing off the Star Fox included content. How much Star Fox content is actually in Atlas remains to be seen but considering how hard Nintendo is pushing it, it must be a lot. Who knows? I have no intention of getting the game anyways.

Ubisoft intends to keep the gender choice for Ass Creed games going forward

Thought Nioh was a lock for PS+ next month? Still going to trade it in. Bought it last Black Friday and, while cool, just focusing on other games. Ghosts of Tsushima, Sekiro and we might get Ishin at some point so I’ll go with those for my samurai fix.

Never played Rondo of Blood so I’ll be grabbing that Castlevania collection. Hope it turns out ok!

Friday the 13th eh? I’ll definitely try it out. It seems like the type of game that you’d play and enjoy for a few hours and then never touch again. I imagine the playerbase is on its deathbed which is why it’s becoming a PS+ title.

Yeah, it’s pretty much dead due to the combination of Dead by Daylight gaining more ground…and the fact that the lawsuit prevents them from ever adding any more content to the game.

Not surprising imo. Cheap, plug and play, and overall a solid controller besides the dpad. Although after the many years I’ve used one I’ve gotten pretty use to it.

313,752 fightsticks are being used apparently.

Timespinner looks kind of like an overfeatured/inferior version of Alisia Dragoon for the Genesis. To be honest, I still have Chasm on my backlog, so I am probably not going to check it out. I am still in the process of beating Shovel Knight, but it feels like there are always better alternatives.

P.S. I really don’t get the excitement surrounding the rerelease of Castlevania: Symphony of the NIght and Castlevania: Rondo of Blood, but I guess I didn’t get it when they were brand new either.

More like proof people have no taste in controllers.
