You can make anything you want, and there’s thousands, if not millions of different worlds, that are user created.

From what I hear it is fantastic this year. It’s the first year that Visual Concepts is at the helm, so really it should be better than ANY wrestling game Yukes did on their own. Graphics and animation are looking great so far. Chances are good if you liked the PS2 Smackdowns you’re gonna like 2K15
It’s too open for me. I can’t get into sandbox open world games. I just have no goal and as such I just grow bored if there’s no set parameters. I love customizable content but within boundaries per say. Like building a LEGO mech but the catch is you only have 100 pieces.
If you need a goal you could try beating the game by killing the Ender Dragon. It’s what it’s there for.
I’m the same way, but I can still appreciate it. I don’t have the time and open world games aren’t a favorite of mine, but if this was around when I was younger? Oh man.
I love customizable stuff and openness, but Minecraft is terribly unappealing to me just on a visual level. Primitive 3d graphics = SHITBALL ugly.
Ah question. Lately I have developed a habit of starting a game and not going back to it. Usually its because I may get to a boring parr or etc and say “ima get it in a few days” and end up starting something else. So I got hella half finished games and games I barely started in the midst of a backlog.
You niggas ever get into something similar? I had a lot of off time this year and meant to knock out my backlog lol. I got a week before I start my new job and idk if I should go hermit mode to finish xenoblade or knockout some of these incomplete shorter games
I’ve had the biggest backlog for a while. I’ll buy a new game, play it a bit, and all of a sudden, I’m playing something else. I hate doing it. I’ve beaten all of 10 or so games this year, and I’ve bought a shit ton more than that.
The heat and humidity of this year so far have me struggling just to think clearly when it gets really bad, let alone try and play through something.

Yeah plus my gaming mood changes. Like I may crave an rpg and start one and then get hit with “rpg fatigue”, then I crave s diff genre and start something and the cycle never stops lol.
Its mainly a problem with rpgs because si know you gotta sink time. Im halfway done with Xenoblade so we’ll see. But yeah I gotta stop this shit especially with games dropping this fall that I want and next yesr

Maybe you guys should, you know, stop buying games until you’re finished with the ones you already have.
You know those old motherly sayings like “Finish your plate”, “Dinner before dessert”, or “Your eyes are bigger than your stomach”? Well apply them to video games too.
Those new games aren’t going anywhere (unless they’re online-only ofc), so take your time with the ones you have. Focus on messing around with two or three handful of titles until you beat 'em.
Look at it this way, new games are launched around too much hype and unknown quality. If you’ve got other good games lying around, play those until that hype dies down, and then decide if those games are good enough to buy.
Doing that should give you less of a backlog, more good games in your collection, and hopefully keep more money in your wallet (GoTY/Complete Editions help too).

When I was younger yes, but now? No. Part of it’s the games coming out and just wanting to actually learn the game. The games I gravitate towards to are in limited supply, these days so it makes it easier. Having your tastes dialed-in help as well
My rule is, if I’m not going to play again in 10 years or for the next ten years, not gonna touch it. For the most part.

Alot of my backlog are some like last last gen games. I barely have games for ps3. I have bought like 5 ps3 games this year due to sales. I just don’t get around to certain games.
Also popped in Punch Out wii to try to beat Sandman. Developed a headache from rage and irritation. It was fine until I had one more knockdown and he beat me. Hate this nigga and his bitchass quick downward punch. Fuck Mr. Sandman and anybody that love him. I wanna try to continue but im beyond irritated but I hate getting stuck and taking a break on a boss fight
