Rumor Mill ( WIP)
Halo 2 remake/HD - Considering that the fact that the Master Chief VA seemed to mention it and then take it back followed by Major Nelson kind of not denying it…I’d say there’s a pretty good chance that it exists.
LoZ: Majora’s Mask 3D - It’s been hinted at several times by Aonuma. So far the team responsible for OoT3D hasn’t really done much besides small projects here and there since the game was released in 2011.
Beyond Good & Evil 2 - One of Ubisoft’s artists recently put up a concept piece of the main character. People have been waiting on this game for awhile and Ubisoft just keeps on teasing.
Left 4 Dead 3 - It’s pretty rare that Valve will involve themselves with E3 but that hasn’t stopped rumors persisting about this game especially after someone supposedly took some screenshots at their office.

Still waiting on that 3DS with the 2nd analog…

Microsoft will usually has their conference available through Xbox Live, so if you have an Xbox or an Xbone then you should be good to go to watch them.

Personal Expectations from the Big 3:
This year really…The only 2 companies I see that are in danger of dropping the ball in some fashion this year would be Microsoft and Nintendo…but for all intents and purposes they shouldn’t. Sony and Microsoft don’t have to worry about console launches in NA anymore and can just completely focus on dazzling people with games and Nintendo is going into their second year with their home console. I’m not expecting to be as hype as last year was but all 3 conferences should be solid.

Sony is going to continue doing what they do and probably show what they have so far for Uncharted 4, The Order, and maybe…JUST FUCKIN MAYBE…they’ll just come out and say that The Last Guardian got shifted to PS4 and show something new on it. I mean they keep having to remind us that it ain’t dead almost 2-3 months. If they don’t show something new by this years E3 then that’s not going to build a ton of confidence regardless of what they’ve been saying. Considering Kojima seems to be really be digging PS4, I wouldn’t be surprised if he were to suddenly appear on stage to show some Phantom Pain…if it wasn’t shown already during their Konami conference. This would also be prime time for Squeenix to show up with more KH3 and FFXV footage.
Vita’s library has been slowly but surely trying to beef up. Freedom Wars, Soul Sacrifice Delta, and Dangan Ronpa 2 should all probably get shown in some capacity. Sony side branch that’s working with the developers will probably also announce more surprise downsized ports for the system. I don’t expect Vita to take up a ton of time during Sony’s conference but they’d be foolish to outright ignore it.

Microsoft has already stated pretty much that they plan to go into this conference with guns blazing. They’re behind in their race with Sony but only by about 2 million. They need to show why people need to spend that extra 100 dollars for their system with a ton of exclusive content both money hatted and not. Sunset Overdrive and Quantum Break will should be easily be expected. I’m expecting footage of Halo 5 in some form to go along with the rumored Halo 2 remake announcement. CoD ,of course, will usually find it’s way into the conference. Hopefully we’ll also see something on the second season of Killer Instinct. If that string of leaks from earlier is any indication, we should finally be able to see that rumored Platinum project the Microsoft got them to work on. It should be quite interesting especially since they’re probably going to want to start gearing up to get their system out to other countries so I’m hoping for some surprise games that really ‘Bro’.
The one thing that could really bring this conference down…is the Kinect. We should be expecting it at this point since they still have Fantasia coming out. That and what ever other Kinect game surprise they’re going to bring up. Hey I mean…they don’t want people to think they spent $100 extra for nothing so it’s going to be there and it has a really good chance of being integrated in some fashion in just about every game that they’ll show on stage. The camera and tech is better though right? What could possibly go wrong?[/details]

Nintendo is dead last in the home console sales war even with their system having had the year head start. They also have the most exclusives announced that people know of currently coming to their platform. The new Legend of Zelda that has been done from the ground up for the platform has already been confirmed to be there. Smash Bros. presence at E3 will be felt…everywhere. Lines to get 2 minutes of playtime for that game will be ridiculous and more than likely more characters will get confirmed. Lots of people are patiently waiting for more Bayo 2 info so hopefully we’ll get a release date this time. More info for X, Fire Emblem x Shin Megami, Yarn Yoshi should also probably make it in as well. It’d be nice if they threw Sega and Big Red Button a button a nod for Sonic Boom as well. This also isn’t including anything surprising that they have to announce for either of their platforms. The 3DS is looking a bit bare for the 2nd half of this year with no exclusives announced for the system. There is that Majora’s Mask 3D rumor that Aonuma has yet to confirm or deny and Grezzo has been pretty silent ever since finishing OoT3D.
Just like Microsoft, I only have 1 concern for them this year and it’s their plan for the Quality of Life stuff that Iwata has been going on about. I’m really kind of hoping that Nintendo chooses a different time and different place to bring this stuff up because I don’t think most of the people who will be watching their Digital Event will care. This could easily take the wind out of everything if it took up half of the video.
