What’s most crazy this month is that the standalone Madden SKU sold better on PS4. Numbers don’t count the codes from the XB1 Madden bundle, but that’s still something I would have never expected.
Time to move the needle back on the “next month’s NPD numbers will be very interesting” record.
It’s silly, but I’m really hoping WWE2K15 is good. I want to get it and mess with CAW, but I’m not going to if it’s a otherwise crap game. I used to love the games on PS2.
Can anybody explain how the fuck Minecraft is still moving copies? I mean at this point I was pretty sure that it was one of those games that everybody owned.
Pikmin’s Awesome I’m sure the movie will have a whole toy story vibe going on. We had a Metroid cinematic experience (Other M) and the only good thing about that was things not story related.
I rented that on PS2. The IP was lost on me,but it was pretty cool. It’s ridiculous that AKI is making piddly crap games these days. It’s not like people weren’t nuts for their wrestling games.
I still don’t own it. A lot of people still don’t. It’s a big world. Games looks awesome but who knows the future of this game with the creator looking to sell the company to MS.
I’m not even questioning Minecraft still charting at this point…I’m more curious as to how CoD: Ghosts is still up there considering how the general consensus for that game seems to be ‘meh’ for those who played it. Everything else I can somewhat believe…cept for maybe Battlefield 4 since supposedly I’m hearing they still having fully fixed the online.
Tons of people don’t own Tons of shit. Tons of stuff can still move Tons of copies. I remember when Minecraft came out a couple years back, thought it was interesting. Never thought anything of it. Than, years later, my friends kids are playing it one night like it’s the new fad game. Plus that’s the type of game that seems to evolve a bit, so someone jumping on the band wagon way down the line isn’t quite as surprising as a sudden spike in something like . . . I dunno . . . some one off story based third person action adventure game.
I have to fully recommend the Super Cyborg game I posted earlier, absolutely nails the Contra formula. Can definitely say it seems like Super C was the creator’s biggest influence (explains the name I guess)…this really feels like a direct sequel to it with tougher bosses + charge shot.
Mario 3D World looks like the closest we’ll get to another Power Stone. Finally started watching a Let’s Play of it since I wasn’t sure if I NEEDED it. I don’t, but the game looks awesome nonetheless.
