If nobody on your team can knock Shedinja on his ass…that means you’re lacking a Flying, Fire, Rock, Ghost and Dark move on your entire team of six Pokemon.
This matters naught to a non-competitive player. Who would use Knock Off in in-game teams? They’re going straight for that Fire Blast, Flamethrower, Fly, Strength .
I dont know if I was up against somebody who had it modded or what. But yeah I knew how Wonder Guard worked because I looked it up. Next time I fought one I hit the fucker with Blast Burn(or whatever my Delphox’s nuke fire move was. it had a one turn cooldown after use) while both were at Lvl50. it did 1HP of damage and the bar very slightly moved. Like I had just slapped it with a fucking fish or something. It didnt have any defense buffs going for it or anything. It hit the little cock gobbler with a super effective move and it didnt even care.
What the? Can Shedinja use a Focus Sash? Did it use endure, or something? The thing has 1HP… Anything (super effective) that makes contact will kill it.
Also, don’t use Blast Burn. Just use Flamethrower or Fire Blast.
Well it doesn’t matter since I dont have the game anymore. I did all the single player shit and I wasnt putting up with modified saves anymore in online games. I don’t remember what move it was but it was my Delphox’s hardest hitting fire type move somewhere over 100 DMG. I didn’t know about the 1HP thing and just wanted to make sure it died because Double Tapping is one of my life philosophies. The game text said it was super effective, but the health bar looked like a Lvl1 Magikarp used Flail against Lvl100 Legendary with a retarded defense stat.
It had no defense buffs going for it at all.
I mean seriously though after you fight a team of maxed shiny legendaries so many times you kinda dont feel like it anymore.
Shedinja can indeed use Focus Sash. It’s pretty much the only item that’s usable on the damn thing.
It didn’t matter if it had defense buffs or not or anything. Good chance it had a Focus Sash which means you need to nail it twice to kill it (or nail it once and status it, or nail it once and have Sandstorm finish the job).
And half the time, those people with a team of maxed Shiny Legendaries don’t know what they’re doing.
That’s kinda the point though is that they dont need to know. They just get carried on brute force alone. Or they can just put Darkrai out front and then make the other 5 whoever they want.
I just think it’s funny that they have like 700 pokemon and the vast majority are hot garbage. It’s like why do you keep adding them if they arent worth anything?
Except a lot ARE worth something. But Legendaries are Legendaries. At the same time though, while Darkrai is strong…he’s not the best when it comes to Legendaries and he can be beaten. Of course, when it comes to Wifi there’s no Sleep Clause or any of that so unless you carry Lum Berries on everyone he just Dark Voids your entire team. Even then if that’s that Darkrai’s only strategy it leaves itself vulnerable to SleepTalk Pokemon.
No need to show gameplay when the majority of people who are interested in Destiny likely played the alpha and beta. There plenty of gameplay out there for the game. It doesn’t need to come from Bungle themselves.
I agree. Like the Titanfall cinematic trailer. It was badass, sure, but it’s not convincing me to buy the game. It’s pretty stupid, to be honest, but its promotional. Casuals will get hype as fuck (“Bro, dat Destiny commercial, doe!”) and people like us will wonder why they aren’t showing any gameplay.
I disagree. Word of mouth is powerful, and the beta was pretty cool, but this isn’t an excuse to not put out some gameplay. They made the Mars trailer a few weeks back, they could’ve held off on releasing it and nobody would’ve had a problem. And they’d be showing gameplay.
I can go on youtube right now and find a ton of playthoughs, gameplay commentaries and all that crap for Destiny. If the beta was still active I could go to Live on Playstation and watch a lot of people streaming themselves playing the game. Gameplay for Destiny is all over the place. Unless Bungie planned on showing something that isn’t present with the available playable builds then there’s no need.
