My brother got his DK2 in yesterday and set up the same night. The tracking isn’t bad. I was able to bend as far backwards as my spine and chair allowed me and it still tracked.
As for omni if i wanted to skate on ice i would go to an ice rink instead spending a $1000.
if you go into the oculus rift configuration desk demo you can check out the camera’s field of view bound. it starts off narrow but then becomes huge further back, I put my camera up 7ft in the air so that im in the larger part of the camera bounds, its huuuuge
the funny thing is when I set up half life 2 while the camera was just on top of my monitor before mounting it high I was able to increase the camera bounds which made the fov very huge even at close range, I could even stand up in close proximity, I could easily stand up now and walk around with it high up but changing the limit in half life 2 showed that the camera bounds shown in the configuration tool doesn’t reflect the limitations of the camera it just shows their prefered neutral set up (so we don’t stand up and walk about)
Asura’s Wrath was just one of those times where a developer took their vision TOO close to heart.
I haven’t cared too much about this game but No Man’s Sky has got me wanting to be a Space Cowboy. I wanna be on the Spike and Gene type shit in the game…man. They need to steal some ideas off Destiny and put some light character customization in.

Anyways speaking of which I’m playing Castlevania: Order of Ecclesia for the first time, up to the final boss now I’m just trying to 100% the game before I beat it collecting everything, this game is by far th best CV no fucking question anyone who thinks any other CV is superior must be on PCP. The first thing that caught my eye was the art fucking gorgeous and unlike most CV’s the majority of it is brand new unique to the game not the same reused assets :tup: The music is top notch catchy, but still gothic, the combat is dimensions beyond SOTN or really most 2D action games period, the RPG elements are not clunky for once, the glyph system makes you feel like a badass and this game is pretty fucking hard too. Truly the crown jewel in one of gaming’s best franchises, I can’t wait to get every glyph.
Right now, it’s on top of his huge tv and the chair is about 3 ft away from it. Since his room is rectangle he’s thinking of putting it long ways so he’ll have more room to move and have the camera closer to the distance they ask for it to be.

Asura’s Wrath only problem was that it wasn’t just a straight anime. Would’ve worked better and EVERYONE would’ve loved it.
I would take this post more seriously if it wasn’t coming from the guy who has the biggest middle-school crush on Capcom. 
Asura’s Wraths problem was that it was marketed wrong by Capcom, it should have all been sold online in episodes and presented as a season of Anime instead of a game because that was what it is. It’s an Anime with a unique and cool gimmick.
And stfu Po, as far as Anime is concerned Asuras Wrath was cheap, my FLCL DVDs cost me more then all of Asura’s Wrath did and FLCL is only 6 episodes. The Kara no Kyokai Blu Rays blow Asura’s Wrath out of the fucking water.

As someone who also has that boxset, I can cosign this. Though that Kara No Kyokai thing is just somebody being a complete asshole. It in no way reflects the actual quality of the series. I havent even seen it and I can say that. There is absolutely no reason for it to even break $300.
And yeah Po pretty much everybody is in agreeance that AW isnt really even a game. It’s a show. A pretty awesome one, though shallow as well. Just because it istn technically a game doesnt mean you can shit on it just cause.
The actual listed retail price for the KnK Blu Rays is 390 bucks bucks.
