Game has been getting perfect 10’s again…even more so now from what I’ve been reading. Also you can choose to run this game in a locked 30fps and have the game have better shadows or have it at 60fps and look smoother.

That Halo 2 trailer jsut reminded me that SGT.Johnson was hands down the greatest thing about Halo campaigns. The nostalgia is real right now. Shit was like 9 years ago.

Destiny is fantastic. Complete surprise. A sci fi FPS…and I love it. It’s like Borderlands and Mass Effect had a baby. Gettin that white PS4 for sho.
As far as I know pin trading is huge in the parks and people (nutty fans) could pay a pretty penny for that pin. I’d want one just to flip for a nice stack of cash. Granted the HD remix would be nice either way

Agreed. Destiny is Borderlands if they just took the looting and rpg aspects from the game. Everything else is screaming Halo: The MMO.
At face value those prices are very reasonable (the discounts & early demo access are nice perks), but I really hope this doesn’t catch on with other pubs in lieu of more traditional rental models. Can you imagine someone signing up for separate subs to access EA, Ubi, & Activision titles? I’m sure said companies would love just such a scenario, but that sounds like a shitty landscape to me. I’d much rather the platform holders work with all pubs to extend their current premium plans towards an all-inclusive digital rental service.

:lol: As someone who did stints with both Gamestop & other retailers that offered their own credit card, I feel for you. On the inside my eyes rolled to the back of my skull whenever promoting a credit card to folks with even less sense than money (well, the ones that needed to finance their purchases, anyways).
Destiny is garbage. The developers(Bungie) have never developed a good game the entire time they’ve been in business. If you think Halo or the Marathon series are good you probably have toenail fungus. Wolfenstein is 2014’s FPS GOTY by far. No other FPS games gunplay comes close.
Destiny is an Always Online pseudo-MMO FPS that is for people with taste cancer. See: Phantom Angel, ShogunZ.
I think gaming is really stagnant right now, at least on the home console front. Everything interesting is coming out in 2015, and it’s like maybe five games I care to play, if that. 4/5 I can play on PC or a console I already have. The transition into next-gen is taking a long time. If we start seeing studios shutting down often again don’t be surprised(Crytek shut down their Homefront 2 studio not long ago I believe.)

If you aren’t a fan of 2D style beat 'em ups then I can see why Dragon’s Crown didn’t do anything for you. Personally, I think it’s pretty fun and the sprite work and animations are really, really well-done. Artstyle is pretty good overall too(maybe not if 2D tits offend you, I remember near release this was a big “issue.”)
2D beat 'em ups are pretty oldschool in design, too. You don’t really see them anymore. They were a 2D and arcade-era genre mainly, once gaming went into 3D this genre got left behind for the most part. There were barely any on the PS1/N64 and onward, at least not like their used to be.
