If memory serves me right, he won the set 3-1. But he was making some crazy reads, some of which won rounds for him that could have gone the other way. I remember him doing stuff like 3 straight heavy DP’s during Adon’s wake up that can’t be FADC’d at all, double dash MP SRK FADC Ultra, LK tatsu to corpse hop and then a heavy DP on Gamerbee’s wake up. It was probably the most entertaining GF I’ve ever seen because Daigo was playing bat shit crazy and it was working. That was the same tournament where a Ryu player named Gandhi random’d out a Rufus player and the guy was going nuts on stream because he couldn’t believe the stuff he kept getting hit by. Almost seemed like it was foreshadowing the GF’s.
Anyone got a link to the Daigo vs Dhalsim match that was the only game I missed.
He was so close to being taken out too.
I watched that match again and like I said before he could have punished Sim for doing Ultra in the corner at the range he used it at several times but didn’t do it once. The first time he already threw out a far MK and got punished for it. The 2nd time he tried EX DP and got punished after it ran out of invincibility. The third time he went for a jump in, got anti-air’d and got punished by going for EX DP(that hit) but ran out of invincibility again. He had a Ultra 2 ready to go all 3 times and didn’t use it each time. He was definitely unaware that it would work for sure. That’s something he needs to know next time he plays a good Sim player.
It wasn’t close at Dreamhack but it was mostly because of the “psychic dps”. This time is was just an angry Japanese man wanting to beat up on someone.
Also people shitting on Camera Man’s commentary:
- They state the obvious.
- He’s bad.
- He knows he’s bad.
- He’s said he’s bad.
- Xian has said he’s bad.
- He’s asked for tips.
- He’s actually doing what people asked.
- I’ve heard a lot worse.
- He didn’t even want to commentate, he had to.
- These same people complain about e-sports commentary so gtfo. Not everybody is Ultra Chen.
He really wasn’t that bad at all, I guess Zhi was barred from commentating by Razer (maybe because Zhi is sponsored by Madcatz?). I thought he did a good job solo commentating for such a long time.
Daigo only won, because John Choi or FChamp didn´t show up there. He was just lucky that the best US players weren´t there and Japanese are very selective, when it comes to tournaments.
I don´t mean this seriously.
SMH, Keno letting Nemo get away with SOOOOOO much stuff. That’s a bad matchup for Rolento too…

1.Marvel is relevant in the USA. Of course they get a lot of time.
2.FChamp and Nemo are some of the bigger names in the FGC, don´t forget that.
3.It´s bad for us, since we live in Europe and we want to watch USF4, but USA events have to schedule their events according to them, not to us.

Many here may not like it, but it’s bringing in 30k+ viewers. You can’t deny that a lot more people like watching Marvel than people like watching SF4.

Are you talking about USF4? If you are, then so far only 1 of Nemo’s matches has been streamed today which was the Keno match. It went down to the wire last game last round, but Keno kept letting Nemo get away with unsafe rolls and A LOT (I’m talking about 5+ a round here) of rolls to get out of pressure. He also let him get out of the corner free with EX wall jump, and missed 2 anti air TAP into U1 back to back.
tl;dr Keno should’ve beaten Nemo, but didn’t punish shit.
Nemo is on Winners side, they(Winners bracket) have played only one time so far. The top 16 will come after UMVC3.
What else? Well Gootecks made top 16. He is on losers side and K-Brad is out.
