Well lets think about this, i was worried about that too. I loved when Ultra released on PC, and just seeing that long list of lobbies in ranked and endless just filling my screen, made me feel like " heck yeah! The release of ultra really put some life into the PC community after that shitty AE14 steam works update!" Who knows it might not be exactly what you think.

Also, people will no longer be separated from Beta server and official server anymore, now that the beta will finally be over today. So we’re gonna have a bigger PC player base again, and not to mention people who have been waiting for the patch and not playing will comeback
Mainy finding 2 player lobbies now because they are not playing at the moment, finding anything other than 2 player lobbies isa hassle now.
It’s a big bandaid really as Capcom seemingly doesnt know how to fix it. Having said that, the online is feels…good? I might revise my opinion again though.
The online feels a lot more smooth now, but I am still experiencing some random slow downs/freezes during games. Not nearly as bad as it used to be, but then again that may just be because there aren’t a lot of people playing it.
Played one guy and the yellow bars felt like green bars, then played another guy with green bars, but it felt like yellowish green. Then i went into training mode to check out delayed wake up on the dummy for fun, along with the DeCapre charge time buffs, she feels good again like ultra release. I think more people will play tonight Pacific time, cause a lot of people don’t know you have to opt out of the beta, have school or work, and are maybe expecting it to be out at 8PM like they said, and it’s barely 10:24. Had not trouble finding matches as of right now though.
What the hell are you even talking about? The patch is supposed to go live in like 9 hours. Why would they release it earlier? I didnt even download anything apart from a 4.8mb patch after opting out of the beta.

its still terrible/unplayable.
I do NOT know if people who have the update are still able to play people still using the beta or the previous version.
cuz man, it feels just the same in every way.
still massive lag spikes, mad input delay/dropped inputs. its still disgusting.
So I don’t know if this terrible netcode is cause the patch is FAIL or if more time needs to pass till everyone is on update and off the beta.
After 3 months of trying to play on pc ive concluded…its 90 percent TERRIBLE players, 9 percent intermediate autopiloters and 1 percent decent. 99 percent unplayable matches against random terrible players. 1 percent offline feeling matches with high level opponents that feel like the best thing you have ever played online.
After playing 25 ranked games or so, ranked is the same, menu still laggy there, searching on player skill still doesn’t work. I won’t even accept yellow bars, just green.
I accept green bar, press ready…goes to yellow, SYKE, GOT YA. Endless is better though, at the cost of finding endless lobbies being more dificult.
So I played a couple more sets and I have to say that EU is pretty playable most of the time. The only people who made me lagg in the last 30 matches I played were Turks and Arabs. One Spaniard, but I doubt that had to do with him being spanish since I didnt experience any issues with other people from southern europe.
Germans, Scandinavians, French, British and even Russians generally ran fine. As in GFWL levels of fine.
Well… The game was already nice for me, now, after the patch it is working greatly!
Many people with those I was having problems, now I can play, the game runs really smooth!
