Tips
>Do not Stream the game and play online.
>Do not have people watch you use Steam Stream it will lag.
>If you have a god like connection and you still want to Stream. Please do not participate by playing in your stream/lobby.
>If you are going to anyway, at least lag test. Sometimes you can play people who are streaming if you two are in the same region.
>If you are experiencing graphic delay. Lower your Resolution. The game still looks good.
>Do not use AA. Max AF it does no harm.
>Motion Blur is not needed at all. You won’t notice a thing and people with potato computers might have a hard time rendering.
>If you notice lag spikes and delay. Please take your TIME and SEE if your opponent is trying to WAIT OUT THE LAG. Do not be a fucking asshole and walk up and grab or mash ultra. We can do better community. Back up and spam your fastest normal to see if the delay is gone. Going all in when it’s bad lag is only asking the better player to 5-0 your life the next round.

No. If you bought your DLC via Steam you keep it. I bought SSF4 through gamersgate.com And at the time SSF4 was through GFWL and later on Steam. So to speed things up, I bought the DLC outside of steam because well…I didn’t buy the game from Steam…what since does that make…according to Capcom and Windows I’m at fault because I choice a different distributor at the time.
And Hero please. I haven’t had any issues what-so-ever at this magnitude UNTIL I transferred my game to Steam. It has jack-shit to do with my internet. It’s the poor transfer from Windows>Steam ultimately. And now I have to find a way to change my already good set up for this wacked up port.
No sir. Only GFWL costumes are gone. As long as you own a steam copy with steam payed DLC you are fine. Trife is a bit upset his DLC is gone from his GFWL purchase. There are no keys or anything to use on steam to prove you own DLC so they cannot transfer it. He is very upset.
DLC is 3.75 right now on steam for all costumes, just rebuy it if you moved.
I’m getting the Waiting for player message during matches instead of the game just coming to a stand still, not sure if that is a bug but it is annoying. Other than that it seems functional and more responsive when joining lobbies.
Only stage mods crash my game. Costumes work but they don’t show up properly. They just look full white or full black colored with some parts still showing their proper colors. I think Capcom wanted to stop modders.
I was gifted AE through steam originally. I did buy the costume pack myself and I feel they did a decent job on the pricing scheme for the full DLC costume pack on release. Far better than they did for SFxT. I have no horse in the DLC lost race.
With that out of the way, it’s complete bullshit that they didn’t give the costume DLC out for free. Yes, I paid for it 3 years ago but IDGAF they should have given the costume DLC out at least as a limited time thing until after evo or something. It would have been a nice consolation for the extra wait time for Ultra. It would have been a good gesture of faith that they believe in the PC community and trust they’ll buy usf4 on PC despite the wait (typically delayed releases other other systems sell worse from what I know.)
And frankly it’s BS that they expect you to buy it again. Even at 75% off that is buying it again. WB hooked people up with all of the DLC when they brought Batman Arkham City over to Steam and dropped GFWL and not only is that a much less niche game (meaning more people owned it) but the overall DLC content was much larger and more expensive.
I’m quitting until they fix this. I know it isn’t my connection because I went back to GFWL and managed to find someone to play and no lag issues what-so-ever. I know issues occur during release day but that doesn’t negate the fact that Capcom honestly believes there was no way for them to figure out who has bought the DLC already. I do not believe Windows said “no” if they even asked for that information. If you can transfer save data, player points, the whole game literally then you can transfer DLC information.
Before the migration, I was able to play the Steam version WITH my GFWL DLC. I would go to Steam Market thne exit and boom my DLC was there (I’m aware why this happened but still) There is a way and they just don’t want to do it Period.
