Anybody having FPS issues with this game? No matter what setting I choose - variable, fixed, smooth - I always get huge jumps in frame rate; like jumps up to 200fps at times. I have not been able to keep the frame rate at a stable 60fps.
Is there an issue with CPU overclocking on this game? Because I have to use OC settings on my CPU, ram frequencies, and board voltage in order to keep this flimsy-ass system stable.
i have weird FPS stuff also. sometimes it’s super slow then all of a sudden it’s really fast going beyond normal.
i don’t get how they fucked up this bad. AE was at least polished and ready to go. i come from a 3S background so i didn’t mind having higher tiers but the game was polished on release. it was not an indication that the next installment would be pure shit on release.
i never had this kind of problem, the game is locked to 60fps even when i turn off Vsync or have it ON from nvidia panel or in game , am using a gtx 760
using ATI Radeon HD 5770. i should’ve gotten Nvidia for a few more bones but instead i have a decent card that has compatibility issues with many games.
Tried changing the settings and nope. This is probably AMD video card related.
Setup I am using
Windows 7 Professional N 64-bit (6.1, Build 7601) Service Pack 1 (7601.win7sp1_gdr.140303-2144)

I don’t see a PC general thread. Is there any way to safely remove the music that plays when someone has Ultra and just have the standard stage theme play throughout?
I haven’t modded my music files since AE2012, but I do remember that my custom music continues to play normally after an ultra is ready or after a K.O.
just treat the skin thread as a general thread :p.
PS… back on topic, still on wifi, still having lag-free matches as always:) I think the network bar indicator is crap. Sometimes i feel bad bc it shows me as 0 bars all the time (XD) but then ppl agree to fight me and it’s stutter free.
Ping 20 times to your router, Id like to see what ping times you get for these so called lag-free matches (wifi isnt something I associate with lag-free).
i’ll do that later when I’m home again, but I’m starting to wonder what people’s standards are when they say ‘unplayable’. my experience is it’s basically smooth. not offline-smooth, but not anywhere near stuttering, literally unplayable slideshow.
I’m curious as to what is the most optimal settings to run the game on. Currently I have everything maxed out expect for in-game V-sync and the graphical filters. FPS is locked 60.

Approximate round trip times in milli-seconds:
Minimum = 1ms, Maximum = 25ms, Average = 2ms
The problem is if you let it run for more packets youll get jitter like the your first packet was 25ms.
Plus its susceptible to mobile interference & microwaves so the jitter goes all over the place.
In the past when ive used wireless I know mine has been all over the place.
I have to use wireless and it’s super susceptible to everything. My brother opens up the internet browser on his desktop and it’s time to watch a slideshow.
