So just let me know something! Plus I think running it in August will give you a hell of lot more time to prepare for something that big!

I also agree with having the tournament on August 20th. There’s too many tournament in the month of July to compete with if you want all of SC/NC/GA to attend. Also, more time for people to prepare for the tournament is better.

I need a partner in crime for some mvc3 crack sessions cough Kevin cough Training mode and online lag just aint cutting it anymore. Shitty netcode for both mvc3 and mk9 makes me sad as they’re both games I enjoy a good bit. Only good netcode for the popular games is ssf4 and that game bores me to death. Not excited about AE at all, how dare they disrespect my genei jin like that. I have a feeling I will play it more anyways, just because I can actually get good online connections in that game:lame:

I just dont understand it DOA had a great netcode and it was fucking 7 years ago. Yea the game sucked but how is it 7 years later the netcodes are only getting worse. MK9 is unbearable, marvel makes everyone with a teleport godlike.
By the way Super Street fighter 4 is boring after playing Marvel game is just too defensive and you can make too many mistakes and still win i will still play it as it is fun every once in a while but MVC3 is just too damn good. And kieth i will be comming to the cookout is there any thing you need?
Also tournament announcement comming tonight, this is going to be a big tournament but i want the upstate to decide the systems we are having it on. I am leaning toward 360 but i know PS3 is popular at tournaments. My fear is if i do PS3 we may have trouble getting enough systems for it to run. Thoughts?

360 please!! I hate lagstation 3, it struggles to run the stages in mvc3 and I can go make a sandwich after I do a x-ray in mk9.
ok 360 it is, Shamar and i signed the papers today the room we are getting is 3000 square feet!! i am going to try and list it today.
Majors are going to be Marvel 3, SF4 AE, and MK9 as well as teams of all the games. Teams on MK9 are going to be 4 player Tag which should be fun.
the best thing about having so much space is we can run as many side tournaments as we want. I have reserved 30 rooms for us and we have the Ball room till Midnight!
i am going to print over 2000 flyers for this, does anyone know any store owners that would let me place them in their store? i am already doing one at videogame cavern and the comic shops in greenville, can we put them at planet? anywhere else?

I will have two tv’s set up. So AFTER the things i have planned are done. We can put one of the tv’s on a different game. Also i have just bought a cable to connect my computer to one of my tv’s to play some emulator games on. “Cough” 3rd strike “Cough” it’s on the new ggpo emulator. So all is well! YAY for the new age of fighting games lol.
With me putting my two cents in of the SF4 series. I honestly don’t think it’s boring. I think it’s boring playing people online a billion times in row. When playing it with friends and in person with you guys it’s much much much much more fun. I enjoy playing in person better than online. There is absolutely no lag and it makes you a better player in my opinion just cause you can actually discuss the game like you used to could back in the day with the people you were playing. WHEN YOU ACTUALLY HAD TO PLAY TOGETHER TO GET REAL GAMES IN!!! So with that said, I’ve struggled finding a character to play in this game for a WHILE. But finally! Finally! A character is coming out who I really enjoy and that would be YUN! XD I’m so stoked to finally play a character i like and actually is REALLY GOOD! I knew good things would come my way eventually with this game! and I’m not playing him cause he is the best. I’m playing him cause I actually like the character and I played him in third strike. So i’m hoping that some of his stuff trades over to this game with some new things as well. So, Im pumped!
