We used to have a pretty big Tekken scene once upon a time, but most of the serious players moved away (including myself ;p).
I should rephrase my original comment - you can still get IN to the groups if you aren’t a student afaik, it might just be hard to find them. I would recommend going to the Student Center (Hendrix) and checking the bulletin boards there. They also have hella good chicken quesadillas, I lived off them shits when I was a student there.

Ted I stand corrected - Spraker pointed out on facebook that the TE stick that comes with that version of the game is NOT the MadCatz controller, and is NOT ergonomic. That stick blows. But the TE stick IS system specific, so I’m still glad I got a custom stick that’s 360/PS3 switchable instead of buying 2 of those.
Got my stick yesterday…AWESOME!!! Thanks to filldoh for the games since no one else wanted to play UMK3…losers ;p

that blows, there’s like 4-5 games that are like this for me 
vex if you have bought the games before and want to redownload just go to your dl history and redownload it. we gotta play some double dragon when you do.
also for anyone that still wants UMK go to target and buy the dl card. they cant sell it on the marketplace because of the licence issue but they still honor the cards.

I got to really sit down and play the MK9 demo this morning during casuals before a local tournament out here. It was really awesome - my hype meter is through the roof. Felt really natural, and surprisingly, I could feel elements of pretty much all of the previous games (even the last one, which I’m playing through right now for the first time) in it, and I like what I’m seeing.
AE dated and priced(cheap at $15) and more new details on SFvsT damn this year is insane. They need to slow down i dont have time to play the cool shit i have now much less more cool shit.
