June is cool in my book. Also curious if it has to be on a sunday. Saturday gets my vote if possible.

no a saturday will be ok, just last time i had a saturday one everyone said sunday! guess you cant please everyone. i will plan for june 18th. Working out the venue details now just got work out the cost, i want this one to be big so there will be a door fee to pay for the venue. nothing too extream though probably about $10.
Always go Saturday. The church-goers will thank you for it. Final Round 7 was on Easter Sunday and nobody realized it, we lost a lot of Sunday people that year.

How’s it goin upstate? This is Tyler (used to work at the arcade in Anderson Mall long ago) for those of you that know me…just saying hey.
so i got Mortal kombat today for my ps3 and i have to say i am impressed. very complete package with the training modes(they show hitboxes on your attacks.) system feels really good, dashes are very important and meter management is very important. so far all the characters feel different and this is the goriest fucking game i have ever seen. surprisingly the story mode seems interesting, so far i am enjoying most of the cast. xray moves are awesome completely invincible and hit really hard and are easy to combo into. They can really change the outcome of a match, which is how they should be considering the cost. meter builds slow so getting more than two xrays for a whole match is going to be hard.
back to playing mk. by the way i am still getting it on 360 for the online i just hope it is as solid as the rest of the game.
x rays are ex to combo after as well.
kintaro and goro are big pussies, they are easy as hell. Khan is a bitch until you figure him out and there is a way to cheese him that i found, makes him really easy.

If I’m not mistaken, this will be the first major to feature Arcade Edition for Super Street Fighter IV! However we’ll have several games on hand: Super Street Fighter IV Arcade Edition, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, Mortal Kombat 9, Super Street Fighter II Turbo. More game announcements are still tentative!

MK9 is so badarse!!! I’m really liking the classic feel of it and the x-ray specials are a genius addition to the game.

ok i know my fellow old schoolers are going to ream me for this but i bought the MK tournament edition and i hate the stick. i have dreamed of having a mk stick for years but i am now too used to Jap sticks and i cant go back. i will now turn over my oldschool card so Ted and Kyah can burn it together.

I dont know who I want to main. Baraka,Sub-Zero, or Noob…Noob seems so scrub friendly…might fit me perfect.
GG’s Shelby and Keith - my connection was up and down, so I don’t really think that was a fair representation for any of us. Today was also the first day I attempted to play online, which definitely does have a little bit of a lag factor. I played some matches today that were waaaaaaaaaaaaay slow. Keith your Scorpion is sick - you should main him 
Shelby your Baraka seems pretty solid so far, I would stick with him. I had real trouble fighting against him.

@filldoh - didn’t you own a machine once? I think the stick is about as perfect as you can get for a console. My AIAB stick doesn’t map right, I have to remap block.
