Hmm so I’m beginning to just think my Cap thread is messed up somehow. Could you look into it. New changes aren’t applying and my edit mode is a disaster. I don’t think this is the same for other posts and OPs I’ve made, likely why I’m so frustrated right now:
I agree with Pherai.
Although being able to see IPs should be enough to check for double accounts and alts, it doesn’t always work well when a) you don’t always know the IP and b) the IP system is still reporting my LAN IP and not my WAN IP depending on where what network I post in (usually when I’m behind a Squid proxy).
The dark skins are a welcome addition, that said they still could be improved. My personal suggestions:

Make it so that stickies/announcements are easier to see. Easiest way would be to dump the alternating background colours on each row and instead have a different background color for the stickies/announcements

Nostalgic skins from some of our favorite versions of SRK. @Kyle made a Blue Steel lookalike theme and I made a XenForo SRK Dark styled theme. Adding those in would be a welcome change for those who liked those looks but don’t want to have to run an extension like Stylish to get them.
Yeah, the Solarized Dark is near perfect but the lack of contrast showing if new posts are in a thread really hurts.

So how do I change the caption underneath our avatars? Also would it be possible for it to go to the “next line” and not overlap to the right in the case that it’s long?
It seems like there’s some hole wherein Unknown User (as in that Chun Li thread) can edit stuff that’s not theirs. Hopefully a straight-forward fix. Unknown User should not be able to log in nor edit anything.

Please no more HTML mode. That was so garbage. If anything, allow for us to be able to toggle into HTML mode for those who wish to use it. NOT on by default.
I think you’re probably stuck in HTML mode like some other threads were. You should request to get it fixed.

btw, if you drag the writing area bigger, and then enter a paragraph, it shrinks again to minimum size.

It’s picking that up from the MItem class. Not sure if there’s a reason for that; it sounds generic so maybe there’s somewhere else MItem is used that you’d actually want that behavior. So this is maybe “safer”:

Really? Could have sworn that they were there at some point. Either way, the smiley button disappeared from the website when you post. Which I can see you’re having fun with the newly resurrected coffee one. Luckily most of the BBCodes to insert them manually are easy to remember.

Something changed with the ads over the last couple of days that has them clipping into the content area (meaning it’s hard to read content, especially finding the links to the latest post from your bookmarks page: forums.shoryuken.com/discussions/bookmarked ).
I can only assume that this isn’t intentional, but I just wanted to make sure that you all are aware of the issue.

edit: Also, just an observation that the theme appears to be cookie based, and not an account setting. Not a big deal since I just set it on each of my computers, but thought to mention it just in case anyone comes across the “issue” of reverting back to white when switching to another computer.
So my Cap OP seems like it’s stuck in HTML only…how do I fix this?!? Anyone else having this issue? All the other posts in that thread work fine except my 3 first posts which were made early into this change over. The :atk: icons and breaks show up properly in preview, but not in the render after save. However, with new posts they work fine.

Meh, I lost several thousand post during migration, so I don’t really care so much about post count, however I do like being able to get a general idea of how long someone’s been on SRK and how frequently they post. Either way neither direction is end of the world. The whole 09er thing seems less and less relevant as we no longer have the large ‘influx’ of people anymore from SF4s launch. Even still that was 4 years ago (wow its been that long hahaha). More than likely you shouldn’t be arguing if you get butt-hurt by that as an insult anyways, but I digress.

I’m still not in love with any of the themes, though I admit to not trying out the new dark blue yet, so I’ll look at that after lunch.
