I’d gladly throw a small fee at SRK to get rid of ads…anyone who creates default audio on (or on rollOver) and expanding ads has a special place in graphic/web design hell. They fucking suck to deal with. ALL audio ads need to be volume 0 unless a click occurs. But I think that’s on the web ad services they use, not on SRKs end of configuring that…though really these have been severely bitched about by the public as is.

Also call me stupid, blind and dumb but did the Mark All Threads read link get moved / removed? Not a big deal but it was nice to use on occasion when I haven’t been on the forum in a couple days.

These new directional icons are really nice, but they seem a bit too big, might want to resize to better fit with the button notations. EX:

:h::s:, sjc.:h::u:+:h::s:, :qcf:+:l:, :qcb:+:atk:+:atk:, looks a lil awkward with how tall they are. Make em 60-70% size and they’ll be amazing!
I believe they were chosen based on what was in the SRK wiki. Making them smaller might make them harder to read though.
Index-> scroll to the bottom, click “all categories” under the viewing filter. Those forums appear. It defaults to “followed categories” and cuts them out for some reason, but as soon as you show all they come back.
As an aside, I’m having issues on both my work PC(Internet Explorer) and home PC (Firefox) with themes. I get the no theme white flash each time I load a page, then the chosen theme is applied, just like before. Is that just me?

Why not default to All and then allow us to turn off uninteresting categories? O_o
Are we only allowed a maximum of 16 bookmarks? If so, extra please fix the Notifications so we don’t get Notified per post ever, just Notified per first post in each thread since our last site load.
edit: No, this is not the case. The bookmark icon is simply broken right now.
The question then is, why are these forums hidden by default. Notice that, if you log out, you can’t see these forums as well.
Hell if I know why, I just managed to get them to show after seeing @d3v asking if he was the only one who could see them.
[s]Hey everyone I may have found something weird with the avs. If you have a blurry avatar, please upload an AV that is exactly 500x500. If you can’t pull that, upload one that is slightly lower or higher. No matter what route you take, please report your results.
The reason I say this is because my last one had a 200x200 resolution and was blurry as hell. Then I got Savaii to make me a new bigger one that turned out at 500x500 and like fuckin magic it is pleasant to look at now. So maybe the new avs require a much bigger resolution, or I just got lucky for some reason.[/s]

I’ll be damned, that seems to have done it. Still not quite perfect, but it’s a hell of a lot better.
I was gonna post Egoraptor’s “FUCKING GENIUS!!!” thing but I don’t know how to post videos without the button.

Could you please tell me if you did the 500x500 option or the “re-upload your current avatar one”? I don’t wanna take credit for finding a solution if Kasper fixed it without telling anyone and all you had to do was reupload
I reloaded it to 500x500 format and it’s clear now. Imma try my other avs and see what happens.
EDIT - ok this one is 200x200 and it’s working so it must be fixed.
Ok so I can’t claim credit for this But I kinda can claim the discovery because the admin who fixed it didn’t tell anyone to re-upload. So I’m going to anyway. Signature editing, ho!!!
In the meantime, spread the good word around. Because in a few hours the whole site will be a hell of a lot prettier to look at.
yeah I’m sure they’re just tinkering things and a global announcement will be made soon, time to spread that good word tho.

EDIT: Actually, avatars seem to be fixed now as my default sized (160x160) one works now.
Glad to see the quality of the avatars has been brought back to normal for the most part, good job guys.
EDIT: This is probably asking too much but is it possible to make the quality of the avatars match the ones we see on our profile page? Also I’d still like to know how to change the caption underneath my avatar.
