Hey Srayer, are we going to going to practice for SC2 tomorrow? OR is it just everyone for himself?
All matchups between schools are going to be round-robin. This means one school is going to have its first player sit through four games straight while the other team rotates every game. Before each match-up, we will toss a coin to see which school rotates/sits.
We’ll probably have to make a few improvisations here and there, but the tentative schedule for now:
The BEARcade will be open starting from 11AM for those that want to get comfortable and get some casual play (I might be giving out free donuts/pastries too [again]).
From hereon, I will list the STARTING times for each game. If a game starts at two o’clock, ALL players must report to me at one-thirty. So you get the idea.
3D games:
Tekken Tag will start at one o’clock.
Soul Calibur 2 will start at four o’clock.
2D games:
Third Strike will start first at one o’clock.

Guilty Gear will start two o’clock.

anyways… not as many recorded matchs as before… i actually wanted to watch some ttt matchs.
i hope at least the ones there were recorded get online somehow.
and even though we didn’t hotpot, random chinese food was good enough . ^^

Berkeley: This had to be the best UB ever! Most technical match goes to Andy vs Tae! Eric, your R2 madness must stop! Tae, you are 0-46 in finishing your customs. lol. I think I will be making a specal trip just to get those matches on CD;)

I’ll be posting the detailed results Monday afternoon.
I’d also like to thank everyone who participated for showing support in this event. It ran a lot smoother than I expected (although CVS2 went 40 minutes past my expectations, but it’s CVS2). Great games to everyone in Soul Calibur (9-7 EVERY match). TTT was hella fun too.
You guys make me look forward to organizing the next one already.
Once I get a new camcorder that doesn’t get counter-charactered by scanlines, I’ll be sure to get matches other than CVS2.
Tae can’t play Sol for shit. He deserved that water-balloon for going 4-0 with his 3-day-old Venom. Lucky fucker.

UB this semester was awesome. I had a blast playing everyone there. I played and whitnessed a lot of good matches. Props to Binh for running an incredibly smooth UB.
sfsu doesnt have ttt…for them to have a “team” is ironic and thus funny.
Yeah but a lot of the sc2 players are good at the tekken games.

The whole thing was great. I learned a lot watching the Third Strike tourney and regular play. Note to self: learn someone other than Q.
Hopefully next year I’ll be able to actually participate instead of just being an onlooker. Being an onlooker was still pretty sweet though. Good job guys.
