Considering Flocker is probably the only other person than J.Wong, Angelic or Flux that has shown anything close to consistency against Chris G (I guess Shady K can count now too), his tournament winning is kind of up in the air. Rayray has the skill, but he just seems to specifically fluster against Chris G compared to others that can really fight him.

flocker vs chris is gonna be interesting bc they seem to be super back and forth re: results. last time i saw flocker (which was moooonths ago) and chrisg fight it was gf at ECT(?) and chris got fucked pretty hard.

Well I also feel like if Flocker had fought Chris G at Evo he would have beat him also. There’s also the VxG thing, but nobody wants to count that. That just shows how consistent Chris G has been where “anything close to consistency” is finally putting a dent or two in on him in recent majors.
That’s why this tournament will be interesting because we’ll most likely see if Flocker can take Chris out again and if this time…he can do it without switching to Vergil/Strider or Morrigan/Doom.

What about him? If you’re asking if he can beat Chris G, the best he has is a counter pick team specifically against Morrigan. He could try his WIndZero style Dorm/Morrigan/Phoenix team, but that wouldn’t work as good as Dorm/Morrigan/Vergil and I think Chris would be ready for that at this point. I don’t think F.Champ is where he needs to be with any of his other teams to beat Chris G at this point. Might be surprised, but doubt it.
