If he keeps playing like he did today, possibly not. But tomorrow is a fresh day. Different game and all, but the EVO SSBM champion played like shit on Saturday. I also recall Champ not dropping a single game all day Saturday (EVO 2k12), then almost losing in the finals. Your performance against lesser opponents won’t necessarily be indicative of your ability to close it out, and even with a rough start, you might be able to step it up given some time off.
