Against Chris, all you have to do is get up near him. Stay a j. M length or two (three? iunno whatever works for you) away from him and just fire off Soul Fists. He dashes too slowly (so he can’t try to sneak in a jump chain or airgrab), has long start up on his specials and his normals aren’t that long reaching so all he can do is pushblock, SJ, or DHC out.

Thats not correct at all. His plink dash is decent.
If you were to stay at that range he could scoop morri easily. Helps that he also has above average grab range.
Also littering the ground with grenades means he doesn’t need approach.

No he can’t scoop Morrigan “easily”, because he’s busy blocking. You’re not going to be littering the ground with grenades when I’m that close either.
Nothing fights morrigan but Zero/Jam and Dante/Vergil/Strider everything else just loses slower.
Damn that post-GF interview with Serp was ice cold, he acts like he just won a Runback or something else equally underwhelming
Like I’ve said twice, he’s already said that his scene is apparently ass. So basically the only thing he’d be hype over is beating Xian and idk how high he would actually rate him as a player.
But it’s better to stay hungry. Too many players getting happy just getting far, not enough staying hungry enough so they can STAY in the top.

HEllo There, i´m one of the Tournament Organizers and Streaming Master of Friendly Fire 2013 here in Bogota, Colombia. Chris will take any trade you offer with a grenade, since they explode when you hit him, and that always works out in his favor. That’s one of the hardest issues with the match up, is all he has to do is a toss a nade and take the hit, and then Morrigan is the one in a ToD. Also, do not underestimate the range on his c.M or Stun Rod. His air throw range is also quite absurd honestly, and that also leads to death.
Any word on pools for The Fall Classic?
Hey guys if any of you are already in Raleigh for The Fall Classic, check out Tierless Heroes in Raleigh, NC. They have weeklies on Wednesdays (Tomorrow) very close to the TFC venue (About 5 minute drive). They have recently switched to doing a “tournament” edition and an “arcade” edition and this week will be arcade, but if there is enough interest, they will run a tournament instead.
KBrad is already in Raleigh and the people who host the Wednesday Night Brawls (Tierless Heroes) are picking up Xian from the airport tonight and housing him, so they should both be there.
On another note
Look for me at The Fall Classic guys. I’d love to play all of you guys and show off my Firebrand, and show you what the NC scene is like. And if anyone is down for a $20 or less MM, find me. I’m also going to be entering the team tournament on Friday with two other Raleigh, NC players, Will Richards(Dr. Strange player) and Havoc(Spencer player).
Greensboro, NC is also entering in the team tournament so hopefully we do well.

Hey quick random question, could yall recommend any good Arthur players that have some videos of their matches? Have a friend that wants to play Arthur, and watching combo videos only gets you so far. He wants to know how the more prominent players use Arthur. Thanks
There’s someone in the Runback who’s been playing Arthur lately, I believe it’s Paradigm who uses the team, but then switches to his real team when he’s losing, so there’s that.
There’s also ERGZ | Dang who I believe runs Arthur too if I’m not mistaken.
You said we was too slow to approach and that isn’t true, why can’t he scoop her? He isn’t alone, he can call jam and vajra while keeping missiles off the field with magnum and putting out grenades.
He can fight morrigan easily with dante/strider behind him.
Its really weird how people just assume some of the cast is automatically slow. Chris and even nemesis(especially) have really good plink dashes that give them mobility you wouldn’t think they have.
Most chris players sit in one place, but if they got their plinks down they could put out nades, call jam and move in when they need to or keep pressure off of them. Chris players need to realize sitting in one place isn’t always good, and putting some nades and durability with some movement adds a whole nother level to chris’s game.
