Everybody has dumb pre-game convictions, I wouldn’t really worry about it.
We had some dedicated Zero users coming in and saying that Week 1 he felt weird and totally nerfed. In other news, fuck 'em.

Well it’s not really your fault, Haggar got a really bad rep in Vanilla because the extent of top level Haggar play was just call him to spin around in a circle, and when things got bad and you were left with Haggar by himself you just flub around with jump pipe and pray for a miracle.
No one really bothered to realize he has 5 moves total you can punish on block, all of which are moves you just don’t throw out anyways (except for Lariat but it’s a move worth using), or the fact that in the corner he essentially has an infinite on anyone without a fast 8-way airdash or invincible air super, or the fact that pushblock means fuck all to him or his crazy coming in Mix up (although I didn’t see this until I saw Bum use it).
In relation to how he was in vanilla, I guess that’s kind of true.
edit: Sorry, double post, SRK sever got all screwy on me again.
I saw a Zero on a stream and he didnt do well
This isn’t exactly true. What DJ said is true.
I could pick a video too counter this. Single games don’t dictate these things.
OMG ZERO LOW TIER!!!
Go for it!
Exactly, I mean with todays tech and graphics I was appalled not to see an epic story for MvC3. Casuals and Pros alike would of loved one.
Will do when the BCS goes off.
Why is LSU’s offense so anemic today?
Except, I play Taskmaster, so I’d charge them bitches a fee.
Why exactly is Haggar considered so good in Ultimate, anyway? I haven’t seen him played much and I don’t play him, but his buffs really didn’t seem that good? Did he get stealth-buffed or were his buffs just better than they looked in the changelog?
You should watch Bum’s Haggar to get a good idea why.
Well, for one, being able to combo off of all grabs and command grabs was a huge buff in general. Makes his entire throw game scary…which it should have been in the first place. His RFF being invincible also gives him a way to counter offense, and the damage he gets off of it is very scary for a lvl 1 hyper. Pipe and heabutt still rule so…yeah. Pretty good character.
Because Alabama’s Defense is godlike. This game is exactly like the first one except Alabama is actually converting drives into points.
If Haggar has assists he is lethal. At least B tier… I have to go edit my list now lol.
They also buffed the amount of hits a mashed out RFF can do, twice actually (it as 45 on launch and that patch changed it to 57 I believe). They will still fall out of if you mash too hard during the super flash if they aren’t grounded though.
Still it’s funny how a mashed out RFF does more damage then a few characters Level 3s. Also it’s amusing to think how getting shot up from Dante and Deadpool roughs you up, but getting punched 50 times by Haggar? Now that’s just something you don’t walk away from.
its just that he can kill of any connect, almost no character can do that. and his 50/50’s are so easy. Theres a reason you are seeing more and more Haggar on point players popping up and beating people. Bum is great, but his team is far from optimized for Haggar. On point with the right assist he has probably the best match up chart in the game imo.
This is true. Didn’t Bama have like…3 or 4 missed field goals in that one? Can’t really win when you’re not converting.
Kinda like all the drops we see in matches. Yay topical.
