UMVC3 Patch/Balance Discussion *NO PATCH...but word is out of possible ALL CAPCOM VS game coming*

Please god no psylocke type assist.It was f*cking annoying in MVC2 that most characters in that game could kill you after being hit by that.and it was pretty pathetic to watch an ironman player put psylocke on his team just so he could land the infinite when ironman had plenty of setups to land it

Dante sentinel and strider… Dante lands a hit with his randomness and bold cancel combo gets hard knock otgs with million carat while calling sentinel drone which dont scale the drones juggle allowing another million carats then u can jump and get another knockdown call striders y assist another million carats strider assist gets u another hard knock down… Otg with valcano into beehive or whatever its called into lv3 for 1.3mil or lv1 into dhc for about 1mil… Million carat dont scale so …yea dante does do good damage even with out that setup…

If you took Zero and Vergil out of this game it would be better.

They’re not nearly as bad as Phoenix in Vanilla.

I wasn’t talking about weak. I was talking about damage. I’m going to assume that you read my post properly and chose to say weakest to mean something synonymous with low damaging though in which case you are still wrong. Chaos dimension has no followup at all, so it’s almost never worth the meter. In combos, with proper execution, you can loop level 1 supers which does way more than chaos dimensions 350k. I remember in vanilla, I’d get so pissed that it couldn’t even fucking kill dark phoenix. I’ve said this a lot, but it just makes me so irritated that dirt nap is literally 5 times better. If you set up a dirt nap, you can kill off of it. If you set up chaos dimension, you get 350k and lose your welcome mixup… whoopdee dooooo!

I’m pretty sure Chaos Dimension is now mashable, but I see your point.

nerf Vergil!!!

Maybe not but Vergil has a “smoke weed everyday mountain dew easy mode” character vibe that no other character even comes close to. His existence in the game makes it a worse one, in my opinion.

Like, Vergil is fucking easy to play. Not hard at all. Anyone that says otherwise is lying to you.

I’m aware, and easy mode characters only help to step your game up. 8 months ago everyone threw Wesker on their team, but you learn the match up and how to deal with it, and more important, how to counter it. I don’t like when Capcom nerfs because they always do a bad job of it. I don’t want Zero and Vergil to become Yun and Yang.

Neither of them are as good as Yun or Yang were in SF3 or IV (they were both better in three than four). There’s too many characters that can even them out or even have a match slightly in their favor with the right assists. They’re within top 5 but the other top 5 and those below them are still way too strong also.

I also remember when people considered Vergil that “hard to make safe advanced” character.

I think that’s exactly what he meant, he doesn’t want Capcom to nerf them into the ground due to complaints of them being broken, when really the difference between them and the rest of the cast isn’t very great, I would even argue Magneto is better than Vergil.
