If they patch TAC they’ll probably throw other things in too, one of the main barriers to patching as it is is that $40k/system certification fee.
Knowing capcom they’ll probably sneak in some Stealth nerfs like they always do
Hey Mr Twister, I never noticed you’re from Newfoundland. Are you part of the Port 1337 crew? If so, lulz.
I think the discovery of these TAC infinites will make the game more boring and less fun to play. That’s just my opinion, and people may feel that they make the game more fun to play and increase the depth. Both these opinions mean fuck all since Capcom has decided they are going to patch this TAC infinites out, so I don’t really see a point in complaining about it anymore.
I’d still like to see balance patch bundled along with it.
You must live in some bizarre universe where Seth is not one of the best characters in the game in the current version of the game he’s in.
Don’t hold your breath too much people. If they’re smart we’ll get the game to actually check during hitstop. Knowing Capcom they’ll butcher a bunch of shit.
Honestly I’d just do the one line fix for the TAC issue, just comment out all references to hitstun scaling after a TAC.
that definitely would be the fastest method, but it’s stupid to do combo>TAC>MMHS OTG hyper. you probably wouldn’t even be able to do that if HSD builds up in the air.
Good! Make TAC just another, less risky way to switch in another character and leave it at that. You sacrifice damage for switching in a character. That’s fair.
lol well, that’s not exactly what i meant. not all characters can extend TAC combos unless capcom wants to give everyone that ability like they did with OTG moves. yeah, i’m talking about haggar and captain dumb-merica.
for example, fly characters like magneto or storm are good at extending TACs, but morrigan can’t. people are supposed to be doing TAC COMBOS, not just the mmh TAC thing i was talking about.
TAC good; TAC infinites bad.
This is one of the most overblown, whiny, pathetic responses I have seen in an argument. What good points you had made are negated by the fact that you’re acting like a child when people supposedly misinterpret (ROLLING EYES IRL) what you said.
You’re also making a huge generalization. There are a lot of people on here with a lot of opinions. It’s not one massive hivemind in which every single person said they wanted the game more like Marvel 2, and then every one of those exact same people have the same opinions on the new infinites.
Keep your discussion ideological and stop being such a little bitch because you can’t convince the entire world of your argument.
A whole whole bunch of people would tend to say ‘TACs bad’ ><
i thought the same thing when i was a beginner.
a whole whole bunch of people are forgetting to mention that they can be broken.
even if they are bad, they aren’t the worst thing in this game.
If something is bad, it’s bad. Losing my finger sucks, even if lost my whole other hand at the same time.
there is none so blind as he who will not see.
I prefer ‘in the land of the blind, the one eyed man is king’
(never ever get in an aphorism war with me, you’ve been warned)
you really can’t just say “this may be bad, but X is even worse.”
it doesn’t change the fact that both are bad, and both need to be corrected. not even just in games. it applies to real life too. bad is bad, there’s no reason to justify it as relatively better than anything
Call a spade a spade.
The existence of clubs does not make spade cease being what it is.
yeah i know, but sometimes we need to have our priorities in line.
some people don’t like TACs, some people don’t like the TAC infinites, some people don’t like xFactor… why do you guys play this game?
this is like when people bought mortal kombat 9 and were complaining about blood and fatalities, are you serious?
that’s an over generalization. Why people play a game is about what they do like, not what they don’t.
In fact, it’s saying something that people like the game given its huge design flaws.
However, there is always a straw that breaks the camels back. And for many people, the evolution of TAC to be the most powerful thing in the game is a pretty hefty straw.
here’s one thing i was thinking about the game’s balance:
is it really fair for phoenix wright to be able to call an assist while maya shield is already out?
