In actuality you really only get 8 seconds of luminous body because it usually takes 2 or more in order to safely reach the opponent. 16 second luminous gives you a good 14 seconds to work with the hyper on average. And even then damage isn’t gauranteed.
Didn’t Killian say something to the tune of “[they nerfed IM] so that he didn’t turn into a poor man’s Magneto”? Duck Strong is right about them working hard to make him as mediocre as he is.
For the life of me, I can’t figure out what Capcom sees in X-23 that they made her health so poor. Sure she has some nifty tools, but like Zero, there are better options with more health. Also how does an invincible assist/super make it worth it to remove Hsien Ko’s movement? If you watch DS3 matches with her, you’ll see how big of a threat she could be if she had the ability to move. Her super is no worse than Vergil’s swords, and there’s nothing about his character that punishes him for having it.
All 5 of us XD. Yeah but Firebrand is a character who really relies on assists that allow him to reset. But I hate Doom,Ammy, and Dorm with a passion. Im pretty sure more luminous time would allow FB to be easier to place on a team.
All of Firebrand’s tool perform (as intended) I see no need for any changes. If anything install supers need to be shorter; they’re crazy good for one bar.
Your Theorybrand makes me sad ;;
A speed up hyper is awesome but it still doesnt lead to gauranteed damage and could eventually end up a waste.
Also the DMH unblockable takes the same amount of time to charge regardless of luminous ;;. Is a few extra seconds really such a gamebreaking buff?
They didn’t really ‘nerf’ him as he’s better in this game than in vanilla, but he’s still mostly not a good character because like Danke and Duck Strong said they made him a “balanced” character, which in this game means you are a bad character.
Why not just remove boxers and make Gold Armor like a normal power-up mode that takes one meter and doesn’t take another meter to get back to normal Armor? If Dante gets Devil Trigger without a power-down mode, and he’s one of the best characters in the game, there’s no reason a bottom 10 character would need to be put into a power-down mode that makes you take more damage until you spend another meter to fix it.
Also, ground dash. Need that ground dash. No reason to not have any movement options aside from an awkward double jump that doesn’t help much.
Hes good but not broken. Six extra seconds in luminous body would allow him to be placed on a larger variety of teams because he would be more self sufficient.
