Depends on use. In tone countries tattoos were used to brand criminals. Like a mark of shame. Older Dominican people tend to view tattoos negatively because of this.

I have goals in life. And that doesn’t coincide with the statement a tattoo makes.
My ex hated tattoos with a passion and said if I ever got one that they’d break up with me. I don’t really care if I have them or not, but a guy/gal can feel pretty badass/confident/cute walking around with one. There are definitely limits though.
