If you haven’t played the Persona RPGs, you won’t like the story for P4A. The appeal is in the interactions between characters and in following up on what happened to some P3 characters, less so than the actual plot.

Why doesn’t MvC3 have SJC’s?

It does, it’s character specific and move specific( all stS are SJC on hit for example). Certain moves like Dante’s volcano are jump cancelable on block or hit but not whiff, and several chars like Chunli’s Ms and Hs have this property. Viper can SJC her seismos regardless of hit or whiff.
There’s a difference between a JC and an SJC.
Probably because it give a lot of cast ridiculous high/low mixups?
