Get a tattoo with your current job, your current car and the Evos you won.
I have a real job. It’s the other way around.
I wear a suit and tie to work.
People making six figures in corporate offices have tattoos? I’m on my way to a doctorate in about 4 or 5 years and I have 4 already and plan to get more. Hell I’ve been to seminars full of professors with full sleeves. Saying you don’t have goals if you get a tattoo is fucking retarded I’m sorry.
Wha?
I find him to be pretty much harmless most of the time
Girls can get away with it pretty easy considering where they usually put their tattoos any way. LOL.
I didn’t say that.
I said having a tattoo gets in the way of those goals. I’m not big on making things harder.
What are you going for?
How dare this thread let this pass without in depth discussion.
What do you have tattooed and where? >_>
It’s not like there’s a huge percentage of jobs where you have to be absolutely clean of tattoos to get hired for any way.
This is still true today, especially in corporate culture. My current job has people with tattoos hanging out everywhere, but my last job had a policy against showing tattoos. Some places still do not allow that sort of thing.
how so? if you are going to put a fucking pentagram on your head yeah your a dummy. but I can cover up everyone of mine with a long sleeve shirt. What exactly are they getting in the way of?
Only profession I know where tattoos are really really looked down upon is medical. When the last time you seen a doctor with a visible tattoo?
4 years ago when I had knee surgery. He was my surgeon.
I can’t really recall in my lifetime, not saying it doesn’t happen but its a well known fact in that field.
Psychology/Counseling
pretty much any white collate job, or any job dealing with the general public, having a tattoo is frowned upon.
You can cover yours up, great, but you know what’s even better? Not having any.
Life isn’t about choices, it’s about consequences.
AHHHHH.
Beating a Zero/Vergil/Strider team with solo Magneto makes for a satisfying victory.
Its people in the military making 150k a year with a body of tats. I’ve seen them. You’re acting like having some ink is a death warrant on your hopes and dreams lol. Most shops won’t even do hands/face etc. unless you actually have a good job since they are looking out for the idiots who want to do something dumb on a whim at 19 and spend the rest of their life fucked. but if its not visible then whats the issue? I can but on a cardigan and you wouldn’t know I have anything. Hell I’m quite sure at your place of work there is people with tats but they just conceal them. I think your getting the responsible people who get shit that they can choose whether to show or not and the dumbasses who go and get a star on there head.
your the only one acting like that.
All I said was that’s tattoo makes advancing through life harder, not easier.
If Steven hawking can overcome being paralyzed you can overcome a tattoo. But a guarantee you if he had the choice, he would choose to jog.
Thats a hell of an extreme. Stephen Hawking can’t get up and start walking tomorrow. I can go through life without anyone knowing I have anything. I can’t see how these are going to make anything in my life harder other than a few minutes of discomfort as I walk from my house to my car in my long sleeve shirt.
agree to disagree since we both obviously aren’t budging
What’s the over/under on the chances they’re Zero related >__>
In a white collar job, as long as you don’t have visible tattoos, you are allowed to work there.
In a blue collar job, I believe no fucks are given…
