UMvC3 Magneto Videos: Day minus[-] 3 Combo's

Taking a break from marvel but when I come back I want to get straight to my magnus combos. For when you do magnetos air H dash cancels could someone explain the inputs for it. Would it be :h::atk::atk::h:… or do I need to use the stick.

Works well with your other characters, but he has some of the harder combos in the game. They aren’t that difficult but aren’t nearly as easy as your basic a b c s combos.

I figured out a new(?) x-factor 3 corner loop for Magneto. S, wait, air H.Disruptor, land, cr.lmhs, wait, air H.Disruptor, land, cr.lmhs

I can only get it twice, but its pretty stylish looking. Not as damaging as just doing H xx hypergrav over and over, but its level 3 magnus, damage doesn’t mean shit to him.

I’m having trouble landing c.L, c.M, c.H, S, sj.H, air dash forward, j.M, j.H, land, [j.H, air dash forward, j.M, j.H, land] x 3, s.HxxEM Disruptor

after the adf j.M j.H Magneto falls to fast and by the time I land and I can’t jump high enough again and add a j.h that can adf into j.m

Hyper grav loop with j.S instead of j.h.

I can only get it on small characters.

What’s the benefit of this loop over the standard one?

j.S does more damage than j.H

gains more meter and does more damage but it isnt worth it. timing is to strict

Are you talking about plink dashing? If so I do H~M repeat quickly

For any players who are having trouble with the Alioune loop, I’ve felt that my execution isn’t good enough to hit the complete loop fullscreen from all practical hitconfirms with enough success to warrant going for it 100% of the time, but then I altered it a bit to be far easier and only lost out at 15k which is minimal:

It completely hits fullscreen, can go into Hyper Grav loop after the third rep, and deals 572k while Alioune’s does about 587k off of a cr.H hit confirm. With a cLMHS hitconfirm, I do 544k, not counting Grav loops. The only pause that is necessary is the one between the jH on the second blast, other than that the combo is cake.

i’ve noticed I’m far more consistent with doing
:s: > j.:h: xx addf j.:h: (land) > j.:h: xx Mag blast

than

:s: > j.:h: xx adf j.:h: xx mag blast (land) > j.:h: xx Mag blast

The first one looks cooler, but some times and on some characters, I drop the second magblast.

Instead of dashing forward after the first j.H do:

[ground series] S, sj.H, air dash downforward, j.H, land, [j.H, air dash forward, j.M, j.H, land] x 3, s.HxxEM Disruptor

Makes them fall lower for you to do the loop.

Yeah I had some trouble getting used to the timing on the second Mag Blast but I’ve done it like a thousand times so I’m used to it now. I mess up on the latter parts of the Alioune loop alot though, like the significant pause on the third blast and sometimes I don’t hit the st.S after the fourth blast. I found that when I played online, I was just doing the first two blast reps and then I just did cr.HS jH adf jH jS cause I wasn’t confident in doing it online yet and that shit only does 499k.

Anybody been getting consistent damage lately with the :s: hyper grav loop?

EDIT: Only been able to do it 5 times online, but 4 out of 5 ended up getting around 900k off of one magblast rep in the corner with a tempest.

Thanks this is a little easier the timing on the addf, j.H is little tough though…

I usually hit the to far away and can’t j.H or addf under them

That appears to be correct. To be 100% sure, remember that you have to neutral jump UP - FORWARD
